Chapter 8: Zuma's huge risk

Marshall pov

"But Marshall you can't be serious, Rocky and Skye just left the pound! If they catch her or Rocky again they'll most likely put them down!" Chase said in worry. He was right we needed someone to volunteer for this job. "I'll do it." Zuma said bravely. We looked at him and Skye told him. "Are you sure Zuma? I can take the risk."

"No." He said. "We can't afford to lose anybody. We are a family and that's how it's going to stay." Everyone looked at each other, and we looked back at Zuma. "Okay Zuma, just be safe out there." I said.

"Suwe thing, pal!" He said. We got the things and we were going to do the usual roles, only that Rocky is the one who gets the items and I still make the puppy eyes... I sure hope we will be able to get this heater up and running.

Scene change (Zuma's badge)

We arrived over at the battery store we needed 4 D batteries and that was it. We took our positions and Skye hacked into the store security cameras... It's now or never.

Zuma pov

I was weally newvous I never did this before so it was a fwist for me. I walked into the stowe and walked in as quickly as possible. I couldn't wely on anybody to cause a disteaction so I was kind of on my own here. I looked up at the camera and Skye did the 'clear' signal. I ran to the D battewy section and I got 5 boxes of D batterwies, they each contained 4 batterwies. I got them and I wan off towards the exit.

"I got it." I told myself, I felt the store and quickly found the other pups. I was better at this than I thought I would be! Every pup met me outside. "Wow you actually got it." Chase said in amazement. "To be honest I thought you wouldn't make it."

I laughed sarcastically and said. "Yeah totally, because I can't do anything." Skye got the bag and said. "Thanks for covering for me that was an awesome thing you did." I nodded and we walked back to our house... I'm really glad we got the battewies now we can be warm.
