I could see the gates coming closer in the distance. "Thankgod! We have been walking for so longggg," I drag out. "Be thankful you can walk," Clarke snapped, who was ahead of us all. Finn and Wells were carrying Jasper and Bellamy and Murphy were carrying the pantha thing. "What put you in such a bad mood princess?" Bellamy asks in a teasing tone. "The Grounders," Clarke says simply. "I hate the Grounders," I sigh. Bellamy and Murphy chuckle as we trudge through the gate. "Who's hungry?!" Bellamy yells chucking the beast on the ground. I roll my eyes at his cockiness which he notices. "What's wrong Bambi? Not hungry." I narrow my eyes. "Your what's wrong Blake," I growl. I start to walk off when he calls out again. "Oh and don't think your aloud to leave camp because your not!" I turn on my heels and glare. "You must be stupider than I thought if you think you can control me!" He stumbles back with his hand to his heart. "Owch," he says with a smirk on his face. "Fuck you Blake!" I say flipping him the bird as I walk towards the dropship. On the way I see a little girl sitting alone by a tree. She is so young I wonder why I have never noticed her before. "Hey." I say while sitting next to her. "Hi," she says nervously. "I'm Charlie." "Charlotte," she say and starts to chuckle. "What's so funny?" I ask with a raised eyebrow. "Nothing. Well your the girl who always stands up to that big meanie Bellamy." I chuckle also. "Yeah he is a big meanie. Someone has to do it." We sit there for a bit longer while we talk until I here Japer moan loudly. "I'll come back later once I check Jasper." She nods and I walk back to the dropship.

............................................................

After about an hour or so I went to go find Charlotte. Its strange. I feel like an older sister to this girl and I only just met her. I see she isn't at the tree anymore so I check around camp. "Hey you seen a girl about this high around?" I ask a random kid. "She went out the gate after Bellamy and his gang went to go hunt. They went left out the door towards the sun." I smile and wave walking off. "Thanks man." I make sure my dagger is in my pocket before I head out the gates. Lucky there is no one there to stop me because they are all out hunting. I run toward the sun sprinting. Charlotte should not be hunting she is only a kid. I start to slow down catching my breath when I see an orange mist coming my way. "what the.." I reach my hand out touching the mystical fog. As soon as it comes in contact with my skin it burns and makes blisters. I scream and run the opposite way clutching my hand close to me. "Stay out of the fog it burns!" I yell hoping that if the group are close and they hear me. "Run towards my voice!" A male voice yells. I obey and run in that direction. I start to cry when I see someone trip into the fog. I see Bellamy at a cave entrance and sprint harder as the fog catches up. He runs forward and pulls me into the cave. I see Charlotte in the corner. "Thankgod Charlotte. I didn't know if you made it!" I yell running up and hugging her. She puts her arms around me and cries, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was leaving but you took so long and I couldn't stand that kids screams." I sighed and sat down. "Nevermind. As long as your ok." Bellamy comes and sits next to me. I hide my arm in my pocket despite the pain. I don't need another sealed wound thanks. The first was painful enough. "Are you alright?" he asks. I nod even though I'm lying. "Why were you out here anyway?" he asks curiously. "I heard Charlotte went hunting and I came to take her back to camp." "You could of been killed." I make sure Charlotte is asleep before I speak. "Bellamy?" He looks up at me. "hmm?" I start to tear up remembering the person falling and yelling while being consumed in the fog. "There was a person in the fog. And they were yelling and screaming. I wanted to help but I couldn't. I wanted to help," I sobbed. "And I couldn't tell who it was but I kept running. I left them." I started crying with tears going down my face. "Hey. Hey," Bellamy said lifting my chin so I was looking at him. "That was not your falt. If you stopped you would be out there to. I don't know what I would do if you were. What would she do?" He gestured toward Charlotte. "You did the right thing," he summed up. "You think so?" I asked stopping crying. "I do," he said staring at me with caring eyes. The moment was getting intense. His eyes were so big and brown. His freckles spread across his nose and cheeks. His lips a light pink. He leaned further in and this time I didn't back off. I leaned closer. Closing the space between our lips. When our lips touched it was like nothing I have felt. I couldn't describe it. He pulled me closer to him so I was straddling him while I threaded my hands through his hair. It wasn't a rough or rushed kiss. It was passionate. It was perfect. We broke apart when Charlotte started moaning and screaming in her sleep. I jumped off Bellamy's lap and ran to her. "Charlotte wake up!" She opened her eyes and immediately looked guilty. "I'm sorry." "What was the dream of? You know what it doesn't matter," Bellamy said as I watched him intently. I only tuned back in when Charlotte said, "Screw You! I'm not afraid!" I smiled widely as she went back to sleep and Bellamy sat down. I sat in front of him and chuckled. "What?" he asked. "Oh nothing just that Bellamy Blake is good with kids. Who knew!" He narrowed his eyes and gave me a silly look. I laid down with my back facing him and tried to sleep. "We can pick up where we left off if you like," he snickered. "That's all for now," I joke. "If your lucky that is." I feel him lie down beside me and sigh. "Bet you haven't slept next to a girl without actually sleeping with her." "Well it doesn't have to be that way." I scoff. "You know the world doesn't evolve around you. You ever think about any one other than your self?" I feel him tense behind me and then roll over to face my back. "Octavia told me what happened with the guard on the arc." I clenched my fists and opened my eyes. She didn't did she? The last person I wanted to know was Bellamy. "It was unfair what happened and if I ever met the guard who did it I would kill him." For some reason this made me relax a little. "I do think of you differently though." I feel myself about to cry when he adds on," I think you are more brave and it makes me want you even more." I relax and just lay there in my thoughts. Am I falling for this guy? Have I already fallen for him? I don't love him do I? No I don't even know what love is. What happens if I do? Sleep together once, find him with another girl and get my heart broken. This is Bellamy Blake. He can't love. I feel his arm wrap around me. I can't do this. My heart is already broken. I sit up and put his arm off me. It hurts to do this but it will hurt more later if I don't. I get up and move over to Charlotte. I look at the hurt look on his face before I lay down and try not to cry. You don't love him. You just want something you can't have. In the morning I'm awoken by Charlotte. "Morning," I say groggily. "Morning." We get up and walk to where Bellamy has met the other group. I wander off to the spot where I saw the person. I hold my hand over my mouth and tear up when I see Atom laying on the ground. I walk over to him. I crouch down and he says, "kill me. Kill me please." I shake my head. I look up when I hear Charlotte scream. "Charlotte get out of here!" I yell looking back down at Atom. "Son of a bitch." I hear Bellamy say as he walks behind me. "Everyone go back to camp. You to Charlie." I shake my head. "Don't be afraid," Charlotte says handing him her knife. I worriedly look up at Bellamy. "No. We can help him. Clarke can. If we just...""No Charlie go back to camp," he says. He nods his head at someone behind me. I'm pulled up off the ground and dragged away. "No Bellamy you can't! We can help him!" "Take her to my tent and don't let her out until I'm back. Alright Miller?" He nodded and pulled me back to camp. "Noooo!" I yelled but it was no use. Bellamy and Atom get further and further away as I get dragged. I see Clarke arrive before I lose sight of them. When we arrive at camp I am pushed inside Bellamy's tent while Miller stands outside. I can't believe they killed Atom. We could of helped him, or at least tried. I want to lay down but not on Bellamy's bed so I lay beside the bed on the floor. I curl in a ball for warmth and start drifting asleep. The last thing I think of before I fell asleep was where did Charlotte go? I didn't see her on the way back. One of the other kids probably put her to bed.
