A/N: first male reader.... *applause*

You were a year and a half older than Ponyboy. He was such an innocent kid that it seemed like you were much older though. You were the typical bad boy type. Not on the same level as Dallas Winston but you were close. You had tattoos, wore leather jackets all the time, smoked, drank, and you were in the Greasers gang.

Ponyboy wasn't like that and you obviously knew that but that didn't stop you from liking him. He was just so damn adorable. You never did like people similar to you in this way. For some reason you always went for those who were good and innocent. Ponyboy was the most innocent and good kid you had ever met.

It's not like it would have mattered anyway because you had no idea if he was gay like you. It sure as hell seemed like he was but you never knew. Either way you wanted to be friends with him so you made it a point to hang out with him as much as you could. It's just that he was always with Johnny. You had began to assume he was gay but was dating Johnny. However Johnny soon found a girl he wanted and began dating her. Good news for you. In two ways. This meant that Ponyboy would be free more often and that he wasn't dating Johnny.

You knew Ponyboy was a sucker for walking around, movies and books so you invited him to hangout after you got two tickets to some movie he said he wanted to see. Your plan was to walk around and then see the movie. Maybe watch the sunset or something. Pony loved the sunset. One time he told you of a poem about it. The poem was not bad at all and if you were being honest it made you appreciate sunsets more.

That was another nice thing about talking with Ponyboy and spending time with him, he gave you a different perspective on life. You walked to the Curtis household, daydreaming about Pony. In your mind you tried to put together if he was gay or not. At that point you had no clue because anything seemed plausible. It wasn't easy to just ask him either. Sure the kid was open to most things but the 50's wasn't exactly the time of acceptance.

When you got to Pony's house you just walked in, every one did anyway, and called Ponyboy's name. "Ponyboy, I'm here, let's go!" By the looks of it Sodapop and Darry were at work already.

"One second, I'm just in the shower." He answered.

You weren't sure how long he'd be so you sat on the couch and started watching TV to occupy the time. It didn't take long for him to come out. He had a towel wrapped around his waist, water was dripping slowly down his body and from his hair.

You had known him since he was in grade nine and now as a kid in grade twelve his body looked good. You were a grade older than him so you graduated a year before Pony. It sucked because it meant that you couldn't see him at school anymore. You looked back at the TV to not make him feel uncomfortable but damn. "Get dressed and hurry. It's best not to miss the movie." You said, standing up. You rubbed his hair to annoy him. He pouted and you just chuckled.

Pony went upstairs and came back down not long after, this time wearing jeans and a t-shirt. His hair was also greased up now. It didn't seem to matter what he was wearing he always looked good. It wasn't fair that he could be good with conversations, smart, and hot all at once.

"Let's get going we might have missed it by now because someone was taking their time." You teased with a grin on your face.

"You did take a while to get here." Ponyboy countered in a witty way.

"Sure, sure. Now let's get going, kiddo." You ordered, walking out the door.

Ponyboy followed after you but he looked grumpy now. "I'm not a kid anymore, I don't get why you still call me that."

"It's 'cause you act like it." You chuckled. Pony grumbled something under his breath. "What was that, kiddo? I didn't catch that." You teased.

Ponyboy suddenly tackled you down to the ground and pinned you down. "Could a kid pin you down this easily?" He grinned. You tried to gain control but failed to. Instead you just moved around on the ground attempting and failing to get the high ground.

"That's not fair, I wasn't ready." You pout.

"Whatever you say, Y/n." He said getting off of you now.

You stood up and dusted yourself off. Suddenly a light bulb went off in Pony's head and he ran back inside. "I forgot something!" He called out to you. You didn't feel like standing outside waiting so you went back inside as well. Pony had gone upstairs so you went out of his line of sight, waiting to tackle him.

He came down the stairs with what appeared to be his wallet and that's when you tackled him down onto the floor. This time he was on the bottom, struggling to get control. "Okay, Y/n. Get off of me, you win."

"I don't know. I like seeing you like this, powerless." You smirked. Suddenly he had flipped the two of you. Now he was on top of you, his lips inches from yours. What you would give to kiss those lips. You looked him in the eyes and he then looked down to your lips, licking his own.

It was silent. Out of no where he moved in and broke the space between the two of you. His lips on yours, his hold on you loosened. It was if he was saying you could stop him if you wanted to. You didn't want this to stop though. You grabbed onto his hair and pulled him closer.

He finally pulled away. "You're gay too?" You questioned him.

"I thought it was obvious." He said, a confused look on his face.

"What does this mean for us?" You asked after a moment of silence. He didn't speak, just kissed you again.

"What do you think this means, doofus?"
