Daniella's POV

I sighed after some extreme over thinking, I decided to head hack to camp. The sun was almost fully up, and it seemed like a nice majestic day.

I hummed a familiar melody while walking the winding trails that I hope lead to camp. After losing the trail more times than I'd like to admit, I finally came across camp. I waded through green life forms trying my best not to trip over the many tree roots and the short shrubs that tugged at my pant legs.

"Hey Daniella!" I looked up from my dance to see an entertained Felix watching me curiously. I waved in his general direction and continued to twirl, dip, whirl and slip my way over to camp.

"Want help?" He shouted again, I could just about hear a laugh at the edge of his voice.

"No! I'm good! Carry on!" I yelled back as I nearly fell into a rose bush.

"I insist!"

"Forget it!"

"Oh okay, suit yourself, but just a warning that is the spot where most of the boys take a shit... and a piss for that matter" Instantly I was running and trampling over all the shrubs, not caring any longer for the bushes but for the cute boots I was wearing. Just as I trampled the last shrub, a tree root caught my foot and I tripped but Felix instinctively ran and caught me.

"Let go of me now or else I will slap that smirk right off of your god damned face" I nearly screamed.

He let go with a chuckle and I stuck my tongue out in defense. "I was only joking"

"You bast-"

"Hey!" Peter jogged up to us, cutting me off of my previous sentence.

"Heyyy" Felix and I said in sync causing us to glare at each other.

"Just wanted to see if you two were up for some sword play before we get the camp up and running" He said as he placed a hand at a sheath hooked onto his belt.

"Yea, sounds fun!" I said, enthusiasm injected into my voice.

"Yea, sounds fun!" Felix mocked with a high pitched voice, making me tackle him to the ground. A dagger appeared in my hand and I dug the edge into his flesh.

He growled at me and I added more pressure to the blade.

"That's the spirit!!" Peter cheered as he snapped his fingers, the blade disappeared and I began to strangle Felix with my bare hands. Felix to choke out a laugh causing me to tighten my grip. I could hear Peter turning and walking away but I didn't look up.

"Coming or what?" Peter called out, his voice more distant.

"Yea, yea" I mumbled before reluctantly releasing Felix. He wheezed roughly as he gasped for air.

I got up from Felix's side and jogged up to Pan. I soon felt Felix's eyes boring into the back of my head but I continued on. After a while of walking we reached the cliff face over the ravine I was looking at before hand.

"And we're sword fighting here and not back at camp because?"  I asked as I cocked an eye brow at our 'leader'.

"It heightens the danger which heightens the fun!" He exclaimed before leaping into the air and began flying about in acrobatic spirals. Felix immediately rocketed up to his height, leaving me to stare straight up their trousers

"Only your logic, Pan" I mumbled before following their tails. We flew until we grazed the clouds, and stopped just above them, letting the sun beam down on our faces.

"You two verse, then I get to fight the winner!" Peter said as he stepped back. A sword appeared on my belt and as well as Felix's. We drew the swords out of their close fitting sheaths and squatted down to battle stance.

"Ready?" Peter yelled. With stiff nods we signalled our positions and he waved his hand as he bellowed, "FIGHT!"

Our swords clashed with a loud 'clang!' We pulled away again before taking another swing and another swing, neither of us surrendering.

With one swift move, Felix disarmed me.  My sword flung out of my hand and fell through the clouds beneath me and into the camp below... probably decapitating some kid.... oopsies? I gazed into Felix's eyes once more to see a storm churning in his grey eyes. "Give up Daniella?" He asked as he held his arms out, basking in his 'winning'.

With out a word I crouched down and kicked out, cracking Felix's knuckle. As his bones snapped, his grip on the sword loosened and I lunged forward and grabbed it before he could recover.

"Give up Felix?" I mimicked as I threw his sword at him, handle first, he caught it and slid it back into his sheath. A frown formed on his face making me snicker at his behavior, I felt a sharp tug on my belt and I peered down to see my sword.

"Charmed" Pan mumbled under his breath. Felix and I looked up at him and he signalled with two fingers that we should head back to camp now. We nodded and followed Pan's graceful dives to the camp below to find that everyone still had their limbs.

After breakfast and a few routinely jobs were crossed off the Agenda, I followed Pan to his tent wanting to ask him something.

Pan walked to the back of the tent, as he began to unclasp the buckle on his sheath. I followed behind, unsure how to start the conversation. "Yea?" Pan asked, catching me off guard, his back towards me as he continued to fiddle with the buckle.

"I need to ask you something." I mumbled as I played with my fingers.

"Well, I would assume so," he said as he finally undid the contraption and placed the sheath by his bedside. I took a seat on the bed as I watched him straighten up his tent a bit.

"Before I actually ask you the question that's been on my mind, just wanted to know where Tiger Lily is..."

"I sent her back to her tribe with an escort, who told her father -the chief- the whole story. Long story short, she's in deep shit," he laughed whole heatedly and I smile slightly.

"Speaking of Tiger Lily... the words... the poem she said that night... what do those words truly mean? I still haven't gotten a straight answer from you... No matter how many times I ask you always avoid it!"

"Your right, it's unfair!" He exclaimed, an emotion behind his devilish smile. " My dear Daniella, I will tell you all about your purpose in due time, your need to be on this dark island. You are not enslaved, which you know but yet you stay... Why?"

I stood up and jabbed an accusing finger into his chest, "Stop changing the subject ." He cocked an eyebrow and slapped away my hand.

"Okay, fine. I admit I've been avoiding the topic for sometime... But look no further! I will open up about this sensitive subject..."

"Please Pan, finish your sentences!" I said through clenched teeth, wanting him to say the words I so desperatly needed to hear.

"I will open up about this sensitive subject... when you catch me!" And with that he vanished with a low devious laugh ringing in the air. I cursed as I kicked over a table. "Fuck you Pan!!! I WILL FIND YOU EVEN IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!!"
