Kirina: it's been a while~!

Aichi: yeah! Hi everyone!

Kirina: now now, no time to waste. Let's have our visitor, Taiyou!

Taiyou: hello!

Aichi: be a sunshine for reader, ne, Taiyou-kun?

Taiyou: of course! Hi reader! I hope you'll like the story!

"Taiyou?"

No response.

"Taiyou..?"

Silence.

You felt worried as you call his name, after no response you took the courage to open the door of his room.You tilted your head to peek behind his door. Slowly walking in the dark room, the coldness of the atmosphere sent shivers on your skin. Reaching the switch, the bright light engulfing the room.

Your eyes scanned the whole room and found the amber haired sunshine laying on his bed with a few cards scattered on his blanket. You sighed in relief knowing he was there.

You went towards his bed and look at him. You can hear faint breathing, checking his temperature, you put your hands on his forehead. His fever is high! You immediately drop your things on the floor to get some damp cloth.

After getting one you caressed his bangs and set it aside before placing the damped cloth on his forehead. You tidied his blankets and gathered the cards before to the kitchen.

Getting the ingredients on the fridge, you decided to make a soup. Preparing and cooking it didn't take too much time. Preparing the tray and a glass of water with the medicine beside it, you put the soup in a bowl and place it on the tray and went to his room.

Taiyou's POV

I woke up feeling the cold on my forehead. My eyesight went blur when I opened my eyes but it went back to normal. I groaned. Scanning my surroundings I sat up.

"Who opened the lights?" I asked myself.

Mom must be here. I caught a familiar color on the floor. 'Eh? It's (Your Name)'s things. What Is she doing here?'

I laid back, thoughts running on my mind. I caught a fever, huh. I coughed. Running through the rain was a bad idea after all. I sighed, I feel faint. Then suddenly I heard the door open and look at the person.

"(Y/N)?"

"Taiyou, you're up. Are you feeling okay yet?" She asked, her voice gentle as always.

I smiled slightly. She went towards me with a tray in her hands and placed it on the mini table standing beside my bed.
She took the cloth on my forehead and placed her palm.

"Your temperatures still high." She said retreating her hands.

I sighed. Slowly sitting up.

"Here, drink this soup and your medicine." She gave me the food.

I accepted it and slowly ate.

"You should get better soon." She looked at me and I look back.

"Uh.. how'd you know I was sick?" I asked.

"You didn't went to school and you weren't there to help me practice to improve my card fighting skills. Geez, my first ever joining a vanguard tournament's coming soon!" She huffed and rolls her eyes.

I frowned. I was supposed to be training her. I sighed and gave her an apologetic look. She sighs and gave me a smile, and smiled in return.

"I decided to visit you here in your house to see why, and here I found you having a fever. You didn't tell your mom, didn't you?" She gave me a glare.

I nodded and laughed nervously.

"I get it you're strong but please tell me or you're mom what's happening with you so we can aid you soon." She sighed. "I'm worried you know."

"Thanks for caring." I smile warmly.

"You're welcome~ now finish the soup and drink your medicine after, wait for the scolding, sunshine." She went out the room.

I sweatdropped. She's still gonna scold me.

I finished the soup and drink my medicine. The tablet doesn't taste good at all but I swallowed it anyway. I laid back on my bed.

'I'm glad (y/n)'s here for me. She's the best friend ever! I shouldn't make her worry about me.'

I heard the door open and she went towards me, placing a new cloth on my forehead. She arranged the dishes on the tray and sat beside me.

Suddenly

I sneezed.

"Bless you."

Your POV

"Bless you." I muttered.

He sniffles and his cheeks flustered.

That was cute.

"So running through the rain isn't a good idea, right?" I raised an eyebrow. "Chrono-san told me."

He laughed nervously. I sighed and went on scolding him, he just nodded and laughed. I smiled, he's gonna be okay.

"There, Sunshine's back!"

He tilted his head in confusion. My best friend's so cute! I giggled and we talk about vanguard for a while and after that I let him get his rest.

Before I take my things he holds my wrist. I gave him a confused look.

"Thank you, (Y/N)."

I gave him a warm smile. "You're welcome~. Get well soon Taiyou, you still have to train me at cardfighting you know!"

He chuckled. "Of course! Tomorrow I'm good as new!"

"Sure." I nodded. "I have to go. Your mom's already here." I wear my bag and tidied my uniform. "Bye! See you tomorrow." I said.

But before leaving, I gave Taiyou a hug and kissed his forehead. He blushed and smiled. I return the smile once again and head out.

"Get well soon."

Taiyou: Thank you for taking care of me, reader-chan!

Aichi: you're okay now, Taiyou-kun?

Taiyou: *nods* thanks to reader!

Aichi: that's great ne~ *smile*

Taiyou: *returns the smile*

Kirina: *tearing up* my two Sunshines...

Chrono: *also tearing up* so innocent!

Miwa: *wears a sunglasses* too bright!!

Kirina: *sniffles* okay, Thank you for reading! It's good to be back!

Aichi: hai!
