You're 5 and in kindergarten
Steve Rogers/Captain America
You dreaded this awful day since you learned what school was. You hated the fact that you had to go to school for a whole day without your dad. How were you supposed to survive. You didn't even know how to tie your shoes and now they want you to make friends? Um....what. You looked at your little alarm clock. It had the numbers 5:35 and them two little words 'am'. You didn't understand what it meant, but you guessed that it was in the morning. You were debating on how to hide from your dad. Should you hide in the closet or under your bed? They were both really good hiding spots. You just didn't know which one to use. You knew your dad was going to come in your room to wake you up eventually, you just didn't know when. You decided that you would hide in the closet. It seemed like the most logical hiding spot. He would obviously look under the bed, but was he smart enough to look in the closet. And hour or two passed. You took a little nap in the closet but you were awakened when you heard the door open. You quietly shot up and watched the door through the little slits in the closet. You saw him walk over to the bed. He guessed you weren't in the bed. He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Y/n, come on. It's your first day of big school. You get to be a big girl. Like Aunt Natasha and Wanda." You squinted your eyes. Big girls didn't go to school. Aunt Natasha and Wanda stayed home all day. You weren't going to let him trick you. Instead, you watched him through the closet, not making a sound. He knew from the very beginning that you were in the closet. For starters, he saw that the closet wasn't shut all the way and you liked it completely shut and he saw your little feet. Of course, he didn't let you know that. He pretended like he was walking out. You thought he did and opened the closet door. You looked around and didn't see him. Then, quicker than Thor can say poptarts, he picked you up and grabbed your clothes he set out the night before. You kicked and screamed as loud as you could. It was no use. He got you dressed and put you in the car. He looked at you in the rear-view mirror and saw you glaring at him. "Don't look at he like that. You need a education or you can't be smart like daddy." You were still glaring at him. If looks could kill, he would most certainly be dead. You didn't speak until he pulled into the school parking lot and that's when realization hit you. He wasn't backing out. He was really going to leave you here. You started bawling. You didn't want to go. You were scared of making new friends and you were afraid he would forget you were at school and leave you there. He picked you up only for you to cling onto his shirt. He walked to your classroom and walked in. He saw your teacher talking to other parents. You were still bawling. The teacher saw him, excused herself and walked over to you and your father. "Hi! Welcome to kindergarten. My name is Mrs. Anderson and I'll be your child's teacher. What's her name?" Steve looked at you and back at the teacher. "Y/n Rogers." She pulled out her roster and looked for your name. "Ah, here it is. Her desk is right here." She pointed to a seat close to the window. Steve looked at you. You weren't crying but you looked like you would cry again if you had to. He set you on the floor and looked at you. "Ok, so I have to go but I'll be right back to pick you up." You frantically shook your head. "Don't leave me, daddy. Can you stay in the parking lot?" Steve didn't want to let you down so he stayed in the parking lot all day.Tony Stark/Iron Man
You were playing with your dolls in the room. You had woke up extra early in the morning for school. No one had to wake you up either. Weird. It's probably from all that ice cream your dad let you have yesterday because it was your last day as his little baby not in school. Big mistake, Tony. You stayed up all night. Tony stayed up all night too, but for a different reason. He had been at the bar all night. Before you scold him, he was at his bar. So it makes it better....slightly. Anyways, we was upset that his little baby was growing up. He didn't want you to grow up. He wanted to to stay little and force him to play with Barbie and not ken, no matter how hard he tried. He sniffled again. He didn't want to believe it. He couldn't. Pepper walked towards the bar to see if tony was up. She kinda guessed that he wasn't going to handle this well. "Tony, you can't sit at the bar and drink champagne all day." He gave her a look that could kill. "You can't tell me what to do. You're not my mom, Ms. Potts." Pepper looked at him and rolled her eyes. She decided she could at least get you ready for school. She walked into your room to find a terrible sight. You had dolls all over the floor, you had those little mega blocks things all over the floor and you had watercolor paint on the walls. "Y/n, what the heck happened?!" You looked at her and she could tell you did not get a wink of sleep. "Oh god, not you too." She grabbed some school clothes and ran over to you. You were at the worst point in your sugar high....you crashed...while she was dressing you. She literally felt like she was dealing with two kids...one didn't want to go and the other passed out. She got finished dressing you and walked out of the room near the bar. Tony looked up and saw how cute and grown up you looked and burst into tears. Pepper sighed. This was going to be a long morning. She sat you on the couch so you could get some shut eye in your body while she slapped some sense into tony. Literally. "Anthony Edward Stark. Get your lazy ass up off this chair, get yourself together, and take your daughter to her school. Stop being a baby." Tony realized the very hurtful words that came out from her mouth were true. He knew you were going to grow up at some point he just didn't expect it to happen so soon. He put his glass of champagne down, went to the kitchen, got a glass of water and walked over to the couch. He picked you up, grabbed your little backpack pepper prepared for you and walked out the door. He walked to one of his many cars and put you in the car seat. You were still passed out so, nothing interesting. When you got to school, Tony had to do the hardest task in the world. He had to wake you up. I know your probably like 'how can he not wake a 5 year old'. You try to wake a passed out 5 year old without them getting cranky then come make fun of him. Anyways, he got out of the car, grabbed your backpack and walked over to your side of the car. He opened your door and got you out. He walked to your class with a sleeping y/n. When he got to your class, he walked in and set you on the floor. You woke up because he made you stand but he held you up. You looked at him sleepily and smiled. He smiled back and walked over to your teacher. "Um, I'm very sorry but my daughter seems a little....." "Tired? They all come in like that. She'll be fine." He looked over at you and smiled. He walked towards the door and walked out. He looked back in the window to see you fall on the floor. He would so have to limit your ice cream now
