Two young girls, Miss Acacia and Miss Y/N, laid under a withering tree. They pointed at clouds and the faint stars in the early morning sky.
"Miss Acacia, what would you like to do", asked Y/N as her eyes followed a slow cloud. "You know, once school is over."
Acacia was quiet for a bit. "I'd like to find my parents. Once I do find them, I'm not sure what I'd do. I'd like to be a dancer or singer of sorts. That's what I'd really love to do." The smallest smile formed on her lips. She turned to her side and looked at her friend. "What about you, hm? What are your plans after school?"
Y/N shrugged. "I'm not quite sure. There's not much I can do. My parents are looking for suitors-"
The bespectacled brunette frowned slightly, catching her acquaintance's attention. "No offense, Y/N, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't marry somebody I didn't love or even know." Her friend shrugged. "I don't know. I'm hoping he's nice or at least let's me do what I like doing."
Acacia shook her head but she smiled once again. "What do you say if we ran away together? Just think about it- two great friends going on an impromptu journey together to wherever they set their sights to. Doesn't it sound grand?" She laid back down and stared at the dreary sky. "I don't want to stay in Edinburgh forever."
"I suppose you're right." Y/N closed her eyes but opened them after a second or two. "Wait- you called me your friend." The H/C haired girl sat up and stared at the Andalusian who nodded.
Acacia was a little confused. "I thought we were friends. Are we not? I really didn't mean to pass any boundaries or anything." Y/N shook her head. "No, no...it's fine. I'm glad you're my friend. You're a wonderful friend." She smiled at Miss Acacia and looked back up at the sky.
