Boruto & Sarada (The tale of two lovebirds)

Memories of the Wolf

After a rough night of hearing about their teacher's death, Boruto and Sarada woke up later in the morning and for some reason they thought that last night was just a dream and when they went to Wolf's room it was empty apart from his gear bag still on the bed and the only thing that was missing was his suit. Sarada walked away and said to Boruto "Guess he really is dead....I'm going to make breakfast I'll let you know when it's done babe." He kissed her cheek and said "Alright I'll put this away and try to hide any of his equipment." She nodded and once she left Boruto went to move the bag but he found out fast that it wasn't light and he ended up spilling the contents of the bag on the floor. He said to himself "Dammit....there's always something that falls isn't there?" As he began to clean up the mess he found a folder that was marked -Documents- when he opened the folder he noticed immediately all the papers that labeled Wolf throughout his life, he found his Genin, Chunin, and Jonin ID cards, Boruto then found Wolf's test sheets that contained his scores and he was shocked to know that his teacher was about the same level as Sarada! But when it came to the combat test scores they were off the charts and they beat those like Rock Lee and Sasuke Uchiha! He couldn't understand how one man could do all of that without breaking a sweat until he found a paper that had a stamp on it with a mark that he had never seen before but he ignored it and continued to the read the paper until he noticed that the letters were starting to form words on the blank spaces. He read the words out loud and it said to him "Check your banister by the window." He shrugged and said to himself "Whatever...." when he got the window he noticed a piece of paper fluttering under a knife and once Boruto secures the knife and the paper he read the note and immediately his heart began to feel heavy, his eyes began to slowly water and he said to himself again "Sensei.....we need you." He tucked the paper away and he swore that he would never tell Sarada about it as he didn't want to worry her in anyway.

(1 mile away on a nearby mountain)

As Boruto was heading downstairs after reading the note he had no clue that someone was watching him....the person watching him was his dead Sensei formerly known as Wolf. He smiled to himself and pulled his mask back down over his face while saying quietly "I'll see you both soon." With that he vanished from his spot and headed back to his mission.

(Uzumaki House)

After reading the note and making sure he didn't look like he had been crying he headed downstairs to his girlfriend Sarada who had just finished making their breakfast. She turned to see her boyfriend which startled her but she smirked and said "Damn Boruto you scared me!" He smiled at her and said while giving her a hug "I'm sorry Sarada....I didn't mean to scare you and I didn't plan for that to happen." As they were about to kiss they heard a knock on the door, usually someone would call if they were on the way to the house but this time no one called at least to Boruto's knowledge anyways. He went to the door and he immediately saw Sasuke standing there in his black uniform that he wore when they first met. Boruto also noticed that Sasuke had been looking for the both as he said to the blonde Uzumaki "Ah. Good you're awake....where's Sarada? Is she awake as well?" Boruto then said "Why are you here Sasuke? I thought the deal was that you wouldn't come here?" Just then a clone from Naruto arrived and said "It's simple Boruto....Sasuke arrived in the village and he asked me if he could come see Sarada, I told him that he could but that I would be here watching and I would call for KPD." Sasuke then said after a small yawn "That's right...I'm not gonna do anything harmful to either of you especially since you're the reason my daughter is happy." Boruto then said "Alright then...I guess I can trust you for now...you want some tea or something?" Sasuke then said after removing his shoes and walking towards the kitchen "That'd be nice. Thank you." Boruto began to boil some water for Sasuke's tea meanwhile Sarada had been talking to her father about what she had learned from Wolf and immediately Sasuke said to them both "Listen...don't let those lessons go to waste, He's a great mentor and he will always put your lives first no matter the cost and no matter who you are fighting against." That's when Naruto's clone spoke up and said "Sasuke....that's something we need to talk about...." Sasuke looked at his comrade's clone and said "Explain." Naruto's clone sighed and said "Wolf along with Boruto and Sarada were assigned a mission to find our missing recon team however they were ambushed by a gang of raiders. The team fought back and according to Boruto along with a raider that was captured, Wolf apparently broke free and attacked more of them including the leader after he saw Sarada nearly used like a toy for them. Sasuke's eyes widened and he immediately thought of what Wolf said to him years ago during their last mission together...
