The Cast [Kirishima X Bakugou]

Interview

I was really excited that we got to do an interview. I've always thought of it as the thing that makes you a celebrity. Someone or company spending its money to pay you to talk to them. How great is that! It was even better cause I get to do it with Bakugou.

Bakugou and I take an Uber to the interview. The driver gave us a weird look when we walk in and told him where we needed to go. He only drove as far as the gate. He was to scared to go onto the set which I found kind of funny.

We walk through the gate and all of a sudden a golf cart wipes around and tell us to sit. We sit down and he drive off as fast as he can bringing us to the doors.

"Do you guys have a death wish! You can't just walk around a live set. Fans are going to try to attack you!" I knew the man was right, to be honest I didn't really think about it. We apologize to the man and head out through a back door. There is a lounge and someone gives us a rundown on how things are going to go. We watch the show on the TV until it's close to our turn. Then we get pulled into another room waiting to walk out on stage.

Everything felt weird and rushed. I had no idea what to expect when we actually got out there. The time flew by and before I knew I heard my name and Bakugou and I were walking out onto the show.

The crowd was standing on their feet clapping, girls in the front were screaming. They had shirts and signs with my name on them. I was going to wave but I think back to what Bakugou said. I should pretend that they aren't there and I'm only going to talk to the host. I didn't like that idea, they were the ones truly spending time and money to see me.

We walked up and sat down on a couch. The host, Present Mic sat not to far away in a fancy chair. There was a little coffee table in between. I've watched his show a million times but being here felt so unreal. As the audience began to dye down, Present Mic started to talk.

"Welcome Bakugou and Kirishima! Many of you might know these two from Boku No Hero Academia. The show aired about 2 weeks ago for the first time. Bakugou and Kirishima play a romantic love interest between Kacchan and Eijirou. Roll the clip!" All of a everyone turns to a screen and scenes of Bakugou and I from a screen that's off to the side. The audience turns to watch. I begin to turn around when Bakugou pushes me in the shoulder and points up. There in the corner of the set is a TV. I watch and when they play our kiss the whole audience begins to clap and scream. It stops and all eyes are back on us.

"So what was it like being casted as the first two LGBT characters?" Present Mike ask and I can tell he is talking to me. I don't want to talk but I know I have too.

"Ummm it was weird at first, Bakugou and I had only met like 2 minutes beforehand. Bakugou was so level headed so I guess I played along" I smile and Bakugou leans and elbows me.

"He wasn't very good at it" he chuckles a little bit. I give him a dirty look and laugh a little too.

"So you two are really close then, huh?" Present Mike states. He clearly wants more out of us without asking clearly.

"Yeah we are, we are like best bros" Bakugou clearly putting on his TV face. He always is a much kinder person on TV which I noticed before but even more while being filmed. I put my arm around his neck and smile.

"Yep!" I slowly pull away and the girls from before are clearly eating this up. It was fun to watch them out of the corner of my eye.

"So can you explain what the kiss scene was like for you too?" I watched as the girls leaned to the end of their seats, waiting for a response.

"It was kind of awkward when we first were asked if we would do it. But we knew it was for the better of our characters and would really bring the characters relationship to life" I was so relieved Bakugou answered, really well in fact. It wasn't completely true but I play along.

"It was the worst being on set though. Like we were chill about it but then everyone on set gathered to watch us do it!" I said laughing and Bakugou joins me. I can't help but think back to it. I almost wanted to kill Mina for being so weird about it.

"So that's enough about the show let's get to know a little more about you too. So Kirishima you are new to acting, is that right?" I nod. "Bakugou you kind of been but nothing as big as Boku No Hero Academia." He nods too. "Kirishima what were you playing on doing before acting?"

"Umm I don't know. I guess I was playing to attend college and get on from there. Mina dragged me to auditions with her." I smile at Present Mike. He takes a moment before turning to Bakugou and asking him a question about himself. It was really like therapy in a way, sitting there just getting to talk about yourself.

"Now let's get into something a little bit deeper that fans must be dying to know. Who is your celebrity crush?" Awe yes the classic question, who is your celebrity crush. It ran through like wildfire on social media. I didn't really have an answer, neither did Bakugou. I looked at him as if we were thinking the same thing, I went for it.

"Bakugou of course" I said laughing throwing both of my hands around him. Bakugou started laughing to and patted my arm to let go and said same. I was trying to keep it to a fake laugh to keep it giddy and so it wouldn't get out of hand. I couldn't keep it to myself the crowd was going crazy.

"Oh so you guys are together then!" Present Mike exclaimed leaning into his chair. Bakugou and I controlling our laugh explaining that we were just the best of bros.

The set ended and I didn't think much of it. I thought it was rather fun and I would love to do another one. That interview went viral and people were following me every second. My emails were going crazy trying to get me or Bakugou and I to do an interview.

Bakugou and I took an uber home that day from that set. We sat in the back of the car answering emails and laughing at the fact we called each other a celebrity crush. We got home and kept answering email after email, dm after dm. It was so tiring that we both ended falling asleep on the couch next to each other.
