Male reader x Zelda Twilight Princess [FINISHED]

Chapter2: The job.

I was following Zelda through the town, stopping sometimes because I was wondering how things works but we arrived at what I assumed was the princess' castle.

Zelda: Follow me.

Y/n: Oh, Sorry I saw the cat and....

Zelda: ...

Y/n: I'm coming.

We continued to walk and we were now in front of the huge castle door. Guard came up to me but Zelda stopped him saying I was with her. The door opened and, while the outside seemed huge, the inside was hugemongus! She guided me, showed me around, she told me that I'll need to do a training test in some time, just after the tour's over. She guided me to a room. A bed, some furniture and lights. A mirror was on the wall.

Zelda: This is now your room.

Y/n: WHA- seriously?

Zelda:*giggle* Yes, you said you had nowhere to go.

Y/n: Yeah, I said that... What will be my job?

Zelda: Just following me around and protecting me. Like a body guard.

Y/n: Oh, ok.

Zelda: I have a few more rooms to show you but take your time to install yourself in this room. I'll come get you in an hour.

Y/n: See you later then.

She walked away and I closed the door. I only have my good old sword and my nice cloak with me so.... I checked the cupboard and to my surprise, there were clothes in it. Kinda obvious if you think about it but a hour is really long...
I looked around and threw my cloak on the bed. I went to the mirror. I saw my face and automatically felt a sharp pain. The scar on my face, how to forget.... I turned around, sat on the bed and unsheathed my sword. I looked at it, the blade was in great shape, the edges like mirrors and the handle was professionally polished. I swung it around a couple of time before putting it back in the sheath.
I looked at my clothes but they were in bad shape do to the various fights but you changed them with the one in the cupboard.
They were comfortable clothes. You heard knocks on the door. You opened it and it was Zelda.

Zelda: Ready?

Y/n: Yeah.

You walked with her a few feet and then she asked.

Zelda: Are this clothes comfortable enough?

Y/n: Yeah, don't worry.

Zelda: You'll wear something else when training.

Y/n: Oh.

She opened the door to your right, a room full of armour.

Y/n: Is it necessary?

Zelda: Not if are skilled enough.

Y/n: Ok, I won't wear them.

Zelda: Let's go then.

You followed her through the long corridors.

Small timeskip:

You were now at the training ground waiting for instruction. You are sitting on the ground, still with your sword, and a guy in armour saw you.

Guy in armour: Are you the new royal guard?

Y/n: That's what Zelda told me yes...

Guy In armour: Then, let me test you.

Y/n: Ok.

You got up and followed him to the arena. You both went to your corners and waited a little bit. People started to gather around the area.
