As the light falls on my hands, And gleams off the drops tiny. Each ray shatters into millions, Specs of rubies glitter many. I gaze in wonder at the metal, My hand is holding it firm, The sunlight reflects off its edge, Something in my arms does squirm. "Hush little baby, " I croon. "You'll soon find your mother." But you cry on and on and on. My temper flares at the bother. And then I find a body at my feet, Hairs tangled, eyes open, mouth agape, You tug at my hair, start to cry, I hear a sound and hide you in my cape. "Is the last human gone?" asks Master, I nod, he burns the body with heat. Master is satisfied, leaves then. I place a kiss on your lips sweet. I'm an alien, but not an animal.
