"He went to see you... In San Francisco."

"No.. No he didn't. I came to see him!"

"(Y/n), I'm so sorry.. Here come in. You okay? Why didn't you call him??"

"Why didn't he call me???"

"He wanted to surprise you! I guess you two had the same idea."

"Sorta.."

"What do you mean?"

"Nash, I came here to.. Break up with cam."

*Cams POV*

I went to (y/n)s apartment with a dozen roses. It's been a long time since we've seen each other, and I want today to be the most romantic day we've ever spent together. I pushed my hair back and flattened my shirt. I rang the doorbell and took a step back.

"Cameron?" Her best friend answered the door. "What are you doing here??"

"Is (y/n) here?"

"NO! SHES IN LOS ANGELES!"

"WHAT?!"

"SHE WENT TO SEE YOU SHE NEEDED TO TALK TO YOU."

"WHY COULDN'T SHE HAVE JUST CALLED ME??"

"SHE DID! YOU DIDN'T ANSWER! DAMMIT CAMERON GET IN HERE." She pulled me inside making me drop the flowers. "CALL HER." She demanded.

I dialed her number and waited for her to pick up.

"Hello?" She answered.

"(Y/n)! Where are you??"

"I'm at your freaking apartment where are you???"

"At yours.."

"See Cameron?! This is what happens when people don't communicate!"

"I wanted to surprise you. I miss you (y/n)."

"Cam, no! This isn't working. I cant do this anymore! Look at this mess were in right now. Long distance relationships just don't work, Cameron." She was crying. "I'm done."

"You're done? Don't be done. We went to each others apartments to visit each other. Shouldn't that mean something??"

"I came here to break up with you! Something I couldn't have done over the phone, but I guess I had to do it anyway." By now I was crying.

"You went to break up with me? Well fine. If that's what you want, I'm done too. I'm going home."

"Same." She said and hung up.

I threw the phone at the ground and cried.

"Hey Cam.. I'm sorry." (Best friends name) said and hugged me.

"Me too." I said picking up my stuff and walking out the door. I left my flowers behind because why bother.

*your POV*

"It's over." I said looking up at Nash, my eyes puffy and watery.

"It's okay (y/n), it'll all work out."

"No. It won't. I just wanna go home."

"I'll give you a ride to the airport, it's okay." Nash pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.
