Y/N's POV:

"Great those freakin snakes are gonna be here." I rolled my eyes as Cheryl was getting frustrated.

*skip entire greeting*

One Serpent caught my eye. He read dangerous. He gave me a dirty look. As I returned the favor. "Sweet Pea and Y/n you are partners for this project." Our teacher said. I internally groaned as I faked a smile.

He came and sat down next to me. "So you'll do all the work yeah? Alright that's cool thanks." He said as he kicked his feet up onto the desk like he was some cool kid. I scoffed.

"Actually no you're going to do work wether you like it or not." I said pushing his feet off the table. "Have some manners too." I said rolling my eyes.

*After School*

Sweet Peas PoV:

"Nah I can't dude I have to do this stupid history project with a vixen." I said a little annoyed. Fogarty bursts into laughter. "Have fun with that. Catch us at the Quarry when you're done." He said aloud as I nod my head and head over to my bike.

I told y/n I'd wait for her outside by my bike so we could go and start our project at my place. I offered. She reluctantly said yes since her parents don't like Southsiders. I rolled my eyes at that.

There she comes in her river vixen outfit. Damn she's hot. What the hell? Shut up Pea. I tell myself as she comes up to me. "You're not serious about that are you?" She asked pointing to my bike. I roll my eyes. "You'll be fine princess now let's go." I said tossing her my helmet.

She was kinda nervous. I can tell by her first reaction. "Hold on" I said as I grabbed her hands an put them around my waist. As I started it up she flinched and squeezed tighter. I let out a chuckle but finallly ended up leaving the parking lot finally.

She squeezed me so tight I couldn't breath for a bit. Finally made it to the southside and to my trailer. "We're here princess you can open your eyes now." I chuckled at her. Her eyes were squeezed shut.

We walked into my trailer as we started our project. We fought a lot argued about things that shouldn't and should be on our poster board.

*Three days later*

I saw y/n wearing these high waisted black shorts along with a burgundy crop top. She looked so hot. I loved it. I never thought of her like that but she's fucking perfect.

She's smart, beautiful, funny. No stop it Pea! Not this again! She's a Northsider for crying out loud. Besides she's never like me. It makes it even worse that she's a river vixen.

"Hey Big foot" she said waving her hands in front of me taking me out of my daydream. I roll my eyes. "What do you want shortty?" I asked her as I chuckled. She rolled her eyes. "You better finish your side of the project tonight I'm not going to cover up for you if you don't finish." She explained to me. I rolled my eyes. "Trust me princess I'm finished." I lied.

She chuckled "stop lying." I gave a serious face.

She threw her hands In surrender. "It better be done snake." She said walking away all high and mighty. "Whatever vixen." I said.

*One week later*

Y/N's POV:

So far the transfer of the southsiders coming isn't so bad except for sweet pea. He is such an ass sometimes. Like literally he's nice to me for a second then next thing you know he's making fun of me.

"I don't know He's just getting so annoying." I say to Midge. She laughs at me. "What's so funny?" I asked confused. "Well I mean you just talk about him constantly. Literally you haven't stopped talking about him for like five minutes." She tells me. I scoff in disbelief

"Yeah right. That dude is a douche. I would never like him." I said. But then it had me thinking. We do somewhat 'flirt'? And we always make fun of each other, but never had these feelings towards him. But come to think of it He is really hot. For a southsider he's really hot.

His raven hair just makes me melt. I love his smirk it gives me chills. Oh my gosh y/n stop it! Midge walked to her class as I was still putting and getting my books away. I knew I was going to be late so I didn't rush myself.

The bell rang as the halls emptied as it was just me walking. Well it was just me till I heard the oddly too familiar voice of a certain serpent. "Ahhh well isn't it little miss peppy. How's it going y/l/n?" He asked me. I rolled my eyes. "I was doing great." I smiled, then glared  "until you came along." I finished.

"Ooh feisty." He said and smirked at me. "You're so annoying Sweet Pea Leave me alone." I said irritated. He gave a harsh expression. "Woah calm your tits. No need to get so hostile." He finished.  I rolled my eyes. "Well you should've thought about that before you started talking to me." I crossed my arms trying to pass by the six foot giant.

He crossed his arms and gave me an angry face. I really wanted to push past him but I knew it wouldn't work because I already tried five times. "Sweet Pea I need to get to class." I said angrily. "Not until you apologize." He said sternly. I chuckled "why am I saying sorry? You should be saying sorry" I announced. Then he chuckled.

He uncrossed his arms as he cane closer to me. Making me back up every time he came closer. Each step causing me to hit the lockers. His face inches away from mine. "Now why would I say sorry?" He questioned. His hot breath sending chills down my spine. The smell of fresh pine hits my nose. "Because you are always do-." I was cut off by Sweet Peas lips.

His lips on mine. giving me a shocked expression wondering how and why I'm letting this happen. He pulled away. "You talk too much." He said smirking at me. I still stood there shocked confused on what just happened. "See you later princess." He said winking at me as he started walking.

But I quickly stopped him as I pulled his arm and jumped into his arms. I kissed him again. I kissed Sweet Pea once agin and it felt good. "I like you." I said once we pulled apart. He smiled at me. "I like you too." He said as we went back to making out.

I break apart and jump out of his arms. "You me on a date?" He asked. I giggled, "is that really how you ask girls out?" I asked. "Nah. You just aren't as complicated as most girls. And I know damn well you'd say yes after that." He said referring to our little make out session. I chuckled.

"Yeah tomorrow. 7:30 sharp." I said giggling. He nods his head and smiles at me. I come in for one more kiss as he gives me a wink and walk the opposite direction of me.

As I get close to my French class all I could think is 'I just kissed a Serpent. And not just any serpent. Sweet Pea. My enemy'

Sweet Peas PoV:

Hell yeah. That took up a lot of courage to do that. We went from enemies to a thing real quick. I'm kinda stoked for this date actually.

Can't wait to see her again.
