Heello! So I made yet another x reader. Its a connor x reader (Detroit:Become Human). Also since its summer, after next week there will be way more updates. A lot of stuff has been going on at home, so yeah. Look forward to it! And more of the "summer" chapters will be out soon, i'm thinking of making two other ones.

Chapter 17~ home
Jack pov
I laid on the couch in the living room while half watching the TV half paying attention to my phone. To be honest, I was waiting for (Y/n) to text me.... I feel like I'm going to be the more clingy one. And that makes me feel like I'll be annoying her. I don't want to bother her, I don't want to get her angry at me and then have her break up with me. She's my first girlfriend and first kiss.
"Hey Jack." My mom walked in the house.
"Hi mom," I sat it from the couch and paused the sleep deprived SpongeBob episode. "How was work?"
"Tiring." She answered with a slight smile.
"Hey um mom-"
"What? When did you go out and where did the money come from?" I guess I have to tell her about (Y/n). After the next date, possibly two dates I would've the told my mom.
"Ummm, about that," I looked at my hands and twiddled my thumbs. "(Y/n). She and I are-" oh god, I know how to tell her but how do I get it across with out sounding like a 7 year old kid.
"Are?"
"She and I are dating." I say looking up at her. My mom stayed quiet.
"Really?" She asked with wide eyes.
"Yes really. Why would I be lying?"
"No reason. I'm just surprised. She's only been here for a few days, so who made the first move?" She wiggled her eyebrows.
"Mom," I whined making her laugh a little. "Its doesn't matter." Before she questioned the food, I was going to tell her to go upstairs and rest while I made tea and heated up the food.
"Yes it does."
"No it doesn't. Go upstairs."
"Why?"
"Go to sleep, I'll wake you up in a few hours."
"Fine," she acts more like a child then I do sometimes.
She goes upstairs, I set alarm for 4 hours. I want her to be able to sleep and to relax. God I hope she doesn't call (Y/n)'s mom. Please.
I stayed in the living room and I unpaused the episode.
