"I wanted to come and live in the palace, but it was always you. My mother told me how father treated her. He tricked her into believing he was not married and she fell in love with him. I grew up without his love. Everything I ever did was always wrong in his eyes but never you. He boasted about you to everyone but was I ever acknowledged? No! I was the bastard prince. The one that was forgotten. Yes I never lacked anything in my life, the best schools money could send me to I was provided with but never his love," he spat as he looked at his brother with hatred.

He was surprised when Munya started to laugh at his words.

"Brother, you think father did not love you? Bring him to my study," he ordered as he turned on his heel walking back into the palace. "Leave us," he stated as the guards looked worried. "He won't do anything," he smiled as the men took their leave.

Turning to a cabinet he pulled out a file.

"The reason why you could not stay in the palace was because of the nature of your birth. Your mother was never tricked but she is the one who tricked father into having an affair with her. He loved us both equally," he said turning to hand over the file to his brother. "She is the one who used you as a means of maintaining a constant supply of money into her account by keeping you way from father. If you had bothered to do proper research you would have seen the court papers when he tried to gain custody of you," he added as Simba opened the file to view the documents.

"He never told mother that he had people watching you as all your sporting activities are recorded. Each game you went to he had it recorded. Each achievement documented," he said as he opened a video to show Simba receiving a trophy. Even I have my own folder. You say he was in my life more, but you forget the country came first. Even though it came first it seems he took some time to watch our achievements and experience them the best way he could. He loved you Simba, so I don't see what the fuss is all about because I have done you not wrong and so has my wife," he said as he watched his brother break down right before his very eyes.

Opening another door he retrieved a robe as he went and handed it over to Simba who looked at him in question.

"One thing my wife has taught me which makes me know why I love her is her forgiving heart. I know for a fact she has already forgiven you. I will follow her footsteps and do the same brother. Too much blood has already been spilled. I ask you do the same and forgive your own mother, but most of all forgive yourself," he said before walking out of the office.

"I need you to not give your mother a hard time," she heard him whisper as she opened her eyes to find him laying his head on her belly as he continued to murmur more words before kissing her stomach as he placed a protective hand over it. Quickly shutting her eyes to pretend as though she was still asleep she felt his breath upon her cheek.
"Hmmm how to wake up a person who is already awake," he whispered against her lips before claiming them in a tender kiss that had her opening her eyes to look into his. "Good evening," he said with a smile.
"I really wouldn't mind being woken up like this," she smiled before wrapping her arms around his neck pulling him towards her. "Good evening my love," she said as he kissed her once more.

"Have you spoken to your brother?" she asked as he moved to sit up.

Sitting up she moved closer to him feeling how tense  he was.

"Darling," she murmured turning his head so she could look into his eyes. Cupping his face in her hands she simply said his name seeing him relax slightly. "Talk to me," she whispered.

"We spoke at length. It seems we are alike in more ways than one. An example is our taste in women," he said with a chuckle as she frowned at this. "I'm sorry baby," he said releasing a long sighed. "I'm so sorry," he murmured as tears ran down his face.
