Korean One Shots Book 2

Seo Kang Joon

Seo Kang Joon wakes up in the morning with the sun shining into his room and the first thing he thinks about is you. He breaks into a smile when he imagines your lovely smile, but then sighs when he remembers that you are abroad for work. It's been 2 weeks but he misses you like crazy and you're always on his mind. Since there's a time difference, it's hard to call each other when both of you are available. Kang Joon flips the covers off as he sluggishly gets out of bed and into the bathroom.

On the other side of the world, you're in bed scrolling through the pictures of you and Kang Joon together. You were going to sleep since you were exhausted from a long day at work, but Kang Joon was constantly on your mind, so you decided to call him. The phone kept ringing and he wasn't answering, so you sent him a text instead: Hello baby~ Today was another busy day and I couldn't stop thinking about you all day. I miss you T-T I just got back into the hotel room some time ago and now I'm off to bed. Goodnight <3 

You waited for a bit but there was no reply so you put your phone down and dozed off to sleep. 

When Kang Joon finished showering, he came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist while drying his hair with another towel. He walked over to his bed and checked his phone for the time when he saw a missed call from you 15 minutes ago and your text. He sighed, pouted, and ran his hands through his wet hair in frustration for missing your call. Then he dragged his feet towards the closet to get a change of clothes, but as he was walking over, the towel around his waist got lose and fell onto the floor. He quickly picked it up to cover himself up, and then he chuckled as he thought of you again. 

Flashback

You arrived home early from work one day and decided to surprise Kang Joon. Quietly walking towards the bedroom, you see Kang Joon walk out of the bathroom and towards the closet. 

You push the door open and shout, "I'm home!" You saw him jump in surprise, but at the same time, his towel slipped off his waist and fell onto the floor. 

He turned around and the both of you made eye contact. Then he realized that his towel slipped off and his eyes grew wide as he quickly covered himself with his hands. You quickly turned around and covered your eyes as you shouted, "Sorry! I didn't see anything! I really didn't!"

You attempted to make a run for it, but it was too late. Kang Joon already had his arms around you and he said, "You're lying~" Then he playfully dragged you back into the bedroom with you laughing and trying to break free.

It was finally the day when you arrived back home in South Korea. You came a day earlier than what Kang Joon expected and wanted to surprise him, so you quickly made your way home. 

When you were outside of the house, you quickly searched for the keys in your purse, but it took you awhile to find it with the clutter in your purse. You giggled at the thought of surprising him and felt all giddy as you opened the door. After opening the door, you saw a pair of feet standing in front of you and you looked up to see Kang Joon with an amused smile on his face as his eyes sparkled. "You- How?" you managed to say.

He broke into a bigger grin and said, "I was just about to head out to the store when I saw you through the camera."

You pouted since your plan failed, but then Kang Joon said, "You're so bad at surprises," before he grabbed your waist and pulled you towards him as he kissed you passionately. You missed him so much, you tightly wrapped your arms around his waist to close the gap between the two of you. Without breaking the kiss, Kang Joon lifted your suitcase and put it down inside as you dropped your purse onto the ground. As he kissed you more and more, the front door slowly closed.
