James' POV
Jaiden was taking a while. Should I check on her? But no, I didn't want to go in there, not after what just happened...
Jaiden's POV
It's been long enough I should go downstairs. I get up, catch a quick glance at myself in the mirror, and cringe. My hair is a mess. I just fix it up a little bit and walk downstairs.
Jaiden- Um... Hey James!
James- *startles* O-oh, good morning!
There was some silence, but James breaks it.
James- Here, I made you some oatmeal.
Jaiden- Thanks! I'm starving.
James- I heard the flooding is suppose to go down enough where you can drive home.
Jaiden- Good. I need to feed Ari. He must be very mad at me.
James- *laughs* I don't doubt it.
His laugh sounded kind of awkward. I took a rather large bite of my oatmeal so I wouldn't have to talk.
James POV
I'm kinda sad Jaiden's leaving. Other then the... awkwardness. I really enjoyed her company.
She finished her oatmeal and said;
Jaiden- Thanks for letting me crash here. I'll see you later!
James- Bye!
*Sigh* I miss her already.
