Chapter 8- Her Story

Note: Imma just update this short chapter for now because I'm leaving for another camp tomorrow, I might edit it more tonight.

This '____' stands for thoughts while this "____" is for outloud. I will return to my old format when it is just back and forth between 2 or more characters (Old format: When a name has : after it, it means that they are speaking out loud. If the name has a - after it, it means this is what they are thinking in their head. This part *_____* is just narration or small descriptions)  

"SAIKI! Thank GOD you're awake.... well actually thank me, I'm the one who treated the burns on your back...." Sofia says with a small blush as Saiki sits up shirtless. "...." Saiki looks down at his bare chest and sharply looks up at the blushing girl. "D-Don't look at me like that! I had to take off your shirt! T-To treat your wounds!" causing her to blush even more. Saiki smiles in return "I know I just wanted to see you blush more." "That's not fair" Sofia pouts. 'Cute...!! Oh whatever.' Saiki thinks to himself. "Well hurry up and p-put on a shirt, your parents are coming home soon" said the stuttering girl. "This is the only time in my whole life I've been injured sev.... wait when we were back at the lab you said that your powers were gone, that you couldn't use them. What happened?" Saiki stares deeply into her eyes, and tears well-up in hers. She wipes them away quickly, "Well I suppose I should tell you how my powers actually went away." *deep breath* "When I grew up in America, I was constantly moving around to keep my powers hidden, I mean they were hard to control. I went from orphanage to orphanage. I never knew my real parents but I didn't really need to *I understand that they died when I was very young*. My brother and sister are not my real siblings. Long story short the man who tried to force me to stay with him for my powers  (reference to chapter 5) was developing a drug that could make powers go away for awhile. He wanted me completely under his control. When he tested it on me I could still use my powers but they were limited. I never erased his mind because he had known about my powers for awhile so there were too many memories for me too erase. I never expected him to develop the drug so far to the point it completely prevented me from using my powers for a few hours..... Hey! That rhymes!" Saiki, shocking Sofia, laughed at her rhyme.

TIME SKIP

They got hungry after all that has happened and cracked open 2 coffee jelly packets.

Sofia: Ummm...

Saiki: What?

Sofia: When you were passed out *mumbles* for 5 hours.... *Speaks normally again* Your school friends stopped by. The idiot, the 8th grader, the delinquent, guru girl, pervert guy, Mr. exercise, and..........

Saiki: and?

Sofia: and Teruhashi.

Saiki: What did you tell them?

Sofia: Ummm..... Wellllll.... I told them you weren't here, and well they asked where you were. so I panicked and told them you were off with another girl.....

Sofia sweatdrops as she glances up to find Saiki glaring the sharpest daggers.

Saiki: Which girl did you tell them?

Sofia: Hey I didn't specify and they assumed the was other stuff, I told them you were getting groceries.

Saiki: *Sigh* It's whatever. We'll just wipe their memories on their way home tonight.

Sofia: We?

Saiki: Yes 'WE' because you caused this and I think you have the power to erase memories.

Sofia: Well thanks for assuming so, but I don't. I can stop time though, but you'll have to take me home as soon as I do.

Saiki: Alrighty that could work too.

Sofia: Now that we worked that out, will you please put on a shirt now?

Saiki: *smiles* Sure let me go upstairs and change.

Sofia- He has started smiling a lot lately. It's unusual but I like the look on him, he seems just a little more attractive. *smiles to herself*

Saiki- Is that so?

Sofia- AAAAHHHHHHH DAMMIT SAIKI YOU SCARED THE THOUGHTS OUT OF MY MIND!! WHAT THE HELL!!!???

Saiki- Ha ha did you forget we opened up our thoughts to each other?

Sofia- ..... Noooo......

Saiki- It was literally 3 minutes ago.. :[

Sofia- So?

Saiki- You're really stupid

Sofia- I know. Aaand..?

Saiki- Ha Ha Ha. *Saiki teleports in front of her and kisses her forehead* You are the only person who has ever made me feel this much emotion, in general.

Sofia: Hahaha, I've always wanted to live a normal, peaceful life, without this curse of ours.

Saiki- maybe one day....
