Y/nkit's P.O.V

I nodded. "I will. I promise I will, Moonflower, just let me go back home." I whimpered and she nodded, my eyes closed and when I woke up I was back in Featherwhisker's den. Sunstar anxiously paced around the clearing and I mewled. "Sunstar?" I whispered and he looked at me with hope in his eyes. "Y/nkit you'll be okay I just know it." He muttered. "I know I will too. I need to tell you, Bluefur, Thrushpelt, Mistystorm, Stoneclaw, Mossflow, Riverheart, Whitestorm, and Featherwhisker something. It's important and it came from StarClan." I struggled to sit up and limped out of the den with Sunstar at my heels. I sat in the clearing and he went and got Bluefur and my old littermates, the medicine cat, and my old lover. When they walked into the clearing I started explaining everything I knew. I explained that I knew who Moonflower was because she visited me so often and then I explained that I had found out that I was F/W/N. Whitestorm, after I had explained, wrapped protectively around me. Not tight enough to hurt but enough to where I could feel the love radiating off him in waves. Bluefur leaped with joy that I knew her mother and that her kit wasn't entirely dead. My littermates licked my cheek and Thrushpelt just stood there with a disbelieving expression. "Thrushpelt. I know you don't believe me but if you were to go to the Moonstone right now and asked to see Moonflower she'd tell you she told me all this. Go ask for yourself." I muttered, hurt that the cat who had one time raised me didn't even believe me. Bluefur purred happily and ran out of the gorse tunnel, probably headed for the Moonstone to ask her mother if it was true, if I was really her kit.

~Two moons later~

Y/nkit's P.O.V

I was standing with Lionpaw, Blackpaw, Rosepaw, and Sweetpaw. "From this day forward, until this kit has earned her warrior  name she shall be called Y/npaw." Sunstar yowled and I trembled. He had changed his mind about who he wanted to mentor me and I liked this new decision. He had asked me if Nightwing was okay and I said yeah it was okay but I really wanted to train under Featherwhisker and it made me mad that I wanted to train as Featherwhisker's apprentice, maybe it was just a phase, after all, Moonflower did say that I was going to be a warrior. Not a medicine cat. Didn't she? I stepped forward and touched noses with my new mentor and stepped back. Mossflow's kits, Silverkit and Amberkit, looked sick with envy as they scowled at us. They had another two moons to go before they could ever catch up to us in ranking. I think the two kits have always been jealous of my littermates and I. I wouldn't blame them though, I mean have you seen us? My fur was slick and glossy, Lionpaw's was fluffy and thick, and Blackpaw's was stiff and hard to pull off. He was going to be tough to beat in battle and that was easy to find out just by the way he acted, play fought, and walked. He was going to be a powerful warrior, no cat could doubt that. He flicked my flank approvingly and I licked his cheek quickly before running off with him chasing me. I ran out the gorse tunnel and scraped up bracken as fast as I could and then charged right by him as he skidded into a tree. I shuffled into the apprentices den, my new home and pulled every last strand of bracken and moss out of it. I divided the bracken as evenly as I could and ran back out to get some more bracken.

After I had gathered over twelve trips worth of bracken, I set out for over twelve trips of moss. When I finished I decided to lay down and eat something but I went back out and caught at least three mice prior to my pre-training. I heard a screech when I got back to camp and saw an eagle dive at Silverkit and Amberkit. I yowled and ran at them, shoving them out of the way and leaping up with my strong hind legs, preparing to sacrifice myself for my clanmates. I leaped up and snagged a feather from the eagle and ripped the wing, blood spattering everywhere. I crouched and lifted my stomach and hissed viciously. "Get away you fox-heart!" I hissed. It nodded strangely and turned around and left. I blinked in shock. "You are destined for greatness." A voice rasped in my ear. I looked over to see Goosefeather limping away, mumbling as though he hadn't said a word to me or if he wasn't even aware he spoke to me in such an ominous way. It sent shivers up my spine and I ran over to Whitestorm who sniffed me and licked my cheek. "Are you okay? I walked in and you were fighting the eagle. I was so scared Y/npaw." He licked my cheek again and I purred with amusement. "I'm okay I promise." I licked his cheek and Bluefur raced over with a worried look at me. "It didn't hurt you did it?" She fret. "No it didn't hurt me. I hurt it." I purred with my tail in the air. Just then Thistleclaw and Sunstar walked out of Sunstar's den and the clan leader called a meeting. I stood off to the side as Featherwhisker checked me for wounds even though I said I didn't have any, he just wanted to make sure. "Y/npaw please step forward. You will not be getting your warrior name, but you will be getting a new mentor. Thistleclaw. You will start training right away." He mewed and leaped down from the Highrock, padding into his den and sending me away when I tried to talk to him. Thistleclaw dragged me out of the camp and into the training hollow where he started with the basics while Whitestorm watched, ready to interrupt if he believed his father was getting too rough with me.

When Whitestorm left Thistleclaw to train me alone he got rough. He darted at me and raked a claw past my ear. I hissed and unsheathed my claws, slicing at his eyes, gone into defense mode. I growled and kicked at him, rearing up and lashing angrily out with my forepaws. I felt claws sink into my pelt softly and pull me away, my fur fluffed out with blood streaking my f/c colored fur. I turned around and saw Whitestorm and I cried out in surprise and horror. "Whitestorm I'm so sorry!" I cried. It'd been a trial from StarClan, I knew it, to see if I could keep my cool. And I failed.
