Cardfight Vanguard (Ayumi Haruko x Aichi Sendou)

Ayumi's POV
I woke up from my bed and got ready for school, and ate breakfast. I was feeling pretty good today since I was going to school with Aichi. "Alright Miwa, I'm off!" I shouted. I didn't even wait for a response when I left and closed the door behind me.
I walked to school and ran across Aichi with Izuki and Morikawa. "Hey Aichi!" I greeted.
"Oh, hey Ayumi." Aichi replied, with a smile. "We'll race you guys to school." Izuki said as they took off. "Can't this wait for gym class?"

Aichi said, running. "You can do it Aichi, come on." I said, grabbing his arm and pulling him as I ran faster. "Whoa!"

Later in class, we were listening as the teacher was teaching to us literature figures in history. I was sitting behind Aichi, watching him study diligently. "Good to see you again, Aichi..." I thought. After school, I was walking with Aichi when we were approached by Morikawa & Izuki. "Hold it right there, Aichi." Morikawa said. "Your not allowed to go home yet." Izuki said. "Is it just me, or do these two just sound like thugs?" I thought."Oh, hey there." Aichi replied. I was actually happy to see Aichi looking so happy since he started playing Vanguard.

Morikawa then invites Aichi to card capital. "Can I come too?" I asked. "Sure, I don't mind at all." Aichi said. "Oh sure, invite your little girlfriend to watch you lose." Morikawa tries to say. "I don't think Aichi would lose to someone like you." I said with a clever smile. "And Aichi and I are just childhood friends." I said, linking our arms together. "Now, let's get a move on!" I exclaimed.

Throughout the whole way to card capital, I felt as if we were being watched and would turn my head back ever now and then. "Is something wrong, Ayumi?" Aichi asked. "N-No, I just thought someone was there just now." Oh well." We continued to walk, but this presence continued to bother me a little.

We finally made it to Card capital, and Aichi & Morikawa got started as I watched Cardfight unfold. "Kick his butt, Aichi!" I said. "Y-yeah, let's do this!"

"Stand up my Vanguard!"

As the match progressed, I noticed that a girl with orange hair was looking in our direction. "Wait, is that..?" I then decided to focus on Aichi's match and support him. Aichi rides Marron and ends his turn. During Morikawa's turn, he rides Bahr and tries to attack, but luckily, Aichi manages to guard. "Check for a drive trigger." But Morikawa didn't get a trigger. "Nice one, Aichi." I said. Next it was Aichi's turn. "Now Stand up my Avatar, Ride!" "Blaster Blade!"

"Awesome, Aichi just brought out his Ace card." I said happy.
"I call Wingal to rearguard, call a pair of Gallatins."

Aichi attacks with his Gallatins and then uses Blaster Blade, dealing 3 damages. "I wonder why he didn't guarding." I wondered, watching. During Morikawa's turn, he didn't ride any grade 2.

"So it's my turn now, right?" Aichi asked. "Yup, go for it Aichi." I said. "Okay, Gallatin will attack Bahr first." Aichi was able to attack. "With my Blaster blade, I attack powered by Wingal for the win. (15000) Morikawa tried to guard with 18000 power. "Bad news, our attack won't be able to hit." Morikawa said. "Ah, you sure?" Aichi asked. ""What do you mean?" Morikawa asked Aichi. "Well my Blaster blade has 9000 power to begin with, and he gets 400 attack power with supported by Wingal." "Combined with Wingal's own power.." Aichi stated. "That makes it 19000 power, right Aichi?" I asked. "Yup, and then.." "what now?" Morikawa interrupted. "Can't forget to turn over a card for a drive trigger."

The card revealed to be a critical trigger, equaling 24000 power. "That's the end of the game." Aichi said, smiling brightly.

"Alright, this win goes to Aichi." I said. Morikawa begin to sobbed from complete defeat and Aichi notices a girl near the entrance of the shop after she called out to him. We turned to see Emi, Aichi's little sister. "Oh, Emi!" Aichi said. "Oh Emi, long time no see." I said. Emi looked a me, thinking about who I was. "Ayumi..?" She hestitate and asked. "Yup, I see I'm that unrecognizable with longer hair" I joked. Shin,Morikawa, and Izuki were trying to ask who she was. Emi then walks over to Aichi. "So I guess you been coming home late to play games?" Emi asked. "Um, yeah." Aichi quietly answered. "But it is a good game, Emi." I said.

Emi picks up some of Aichi's cards and looks at them. "So this is Vanguard, huh?" Emi asked. "Huh uh." I said. "I like the pictures." Blaster blade." Emi said, looking at Blaster blade. "So this is what you been up to." "Emi, I-i can." Aichi tries to say. But it turned out, Emi was happy more then mad about Aichi playing Vanguard. "So who she? Is she your girlfriend?" Morikawa asked. "Yeah." Izuki added. "Guys, that's my sister." Aichi replied blushing. "So cute." I thought.

I then looked at the two with a dark glare. "Now what was that about girlfriend?!" I said to the two. "N-Nothing!" They both answered, shivering. "Hehe, good." I said. "Anyway, Emi, Aichi has really changed, and it's all thanks to Vanguard. I said.

"I know that by now. So Aichi will you play again so I can watch?" Emi asked.
The boys looked at her surprised. "It's fun right?" So play again."
"Emi's right. You should play again, Aichi." I said. "Yeah, come on! This can be my comeback I been waiting for." Morikawa said. ",Not a chance." I said bluntly.
"Pulverized him." Emi said, smiling. We watched as Aichi prepares to battle Morikawa again.

I stand next to Emi. "Thanks for supporting Aichi." I whispered. "No problem. But remember, you have to keep an close eye on my brother." Emi said. "Of course I will. Always." I said, smiling.
