help me understand

why do good things happen to bad people?

i put everything into everything i do, every relationship, romantic or platonic. i get invested too easily and fall too hard. i love with all of my heart and cherish every moment spent with the people i care about.

she leads you on only to leave you behind, she knows her words hurt people but uses them anyway. she's manipulative and unfaithful.

why is she the one that gets to be happy? why is she not the one staying up late wondering if she said something or did something wrong? why am i the way that i am? why can't i stop messing everything up?
