"Her eye's they used to shine so bright. I wanna save that light." ~Demons. Imagine Dragons.

Liam (Age 17): When you were three, you got a little sister. You were excited to be a big sister until little Spencer Anne came along. When Spencer came, everybody forgot about you. You were known as Spencer's sister. That one other Payne daughter. You don't even know how this started, but people soon started to call you Taylor. For that reason, you hated not only your little sister, but also your parents for ignoring you. It got so bad one day, that you'd been taken away for three weeks because they hadn't fed you in two days. You were soon brought back to your parents, much to your dismay. You were a three year old walking around with pain.. hurt, neglect in your heart.. Instead of sunshine and happiness. You're now 17, Spencer is 14, and still the favorite. You don't speak to anybody in the house, You kept to yourself, and cried yourself to sleep at night. You broken beyond repair. Because of what happened to you as a child. You grew up with the same pain, hurt, and neglect in your heart and pushed away everyone who wanted to be your friend, everyone who wanted to help you, even boys who, if you hadn't been this way, probably would have had a crush on. You were afraid of everyone and everything. You never told a soul about how you felt, or what happened to you.

  ~Present Day~ (Your POV.)
I ran a hand through my hair as I walked downstairs with my back-pack strapped onto my back. "Morning, Y/N." Liam smiled, setting the table for breakfast. There were four plates down, surely he hadn't set a place for me. He never did. I nodded as a reply, and slipped into my shoes. "Hey, sit at the table and eat with us." He said, as your hand touched the freezing cold doorknob. "Uh.. No, I'm fine." I mumbled and turned the knob, "Y/N. I said come eat." He sighs, and walks over, "And I said I was fine." I snapped and walked out of the house with tears in my eyes. Great, I was gonna go to school crying. I sniffled and began the walk to school. I walked everyday, alone, no matter if it was raining, 110 degrees, or below 10 degrees. I walked. "Hey, Y/N!" A familiar voiced called. Fuck. Somebody from school is gonna see me. I bit my lip and continued to walk, acting as if I hadn't heard them. "Y/N! Wait up!" The voice says, in almost a whine. I pushed my hair out of my hair as I turned to see who it was. None other than Connor White. He went to my school, he was the guy everyone wanted to be; and the girl everyone wanted to have, even for a second. Yeah, he was popular, and had everyone wrapped around his finger. But that didn't mean he used it to his advantage or dis-advantage. He was surprisingly  "Yes?" I mumbled and looked up at him. "Hey, are you okay?" Connor asked, furrowing his eyebrows. Nobody really cares if you're okay.. They just ask to find out gossip to which they'll use against youJust say you're okay and get it over with it. "Uh.. Yeah, I'm fine." I replied and turned around, beginning to walk to school again. "Well, Y/N. Wait a moment," Connor says, running to catch up with me. "Can I walk with you..?" My first thought was it was a joke; that if I said yes, then he'd laugh and call me a freak.. Then I remember Connor was not like that, from what I saw. I tucked my bottom lip back into my teeth, and pulled the sleeves of my shirt down shyly. "I.. Uh.. I.." I stammer, Connor smiled and began walking beside me, not bothering to wait for a reply.
