The gang is back together and have solved a few more mysteries. Our couples, Sammi and Fred & Daphne and Brady, are doing great and seem to stay together. What happens when a mystery at the museum causes problems and doubts. Especially with Heather...
Sammi stood in front of her closet looking for a nice dress to wear. Her closet had nothing but red shirts and some red dresses. She loved the color red but she was bumming since she couldn't find anything. She had sat down thinking about what to do when her bedroom door was knocked on.
"Come in" She said since it was about two hours before Fred was going to be there. She turned her head to the door and saw Daphne and Velma's head poking out from behind the door. "What's up? How's it going?" Daphne asked and Sammi gave out a frustrated sigh. "From that sigh I'm guessing not well" Daphne said and Daphne and Velma sat on both sides of Sammi.
"I don't have a dress for the date" Sammi said and Daphne and Velma smiled at each other. "Well good. We have one for you" Velma said and Daphne brought out a red dress. Sammi smiled and Daphne and Velma helped Sammi get ready. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* Fred stood in front of a mirror trying to tie he had, and it just happened to be red. His suit was blue but he wanted to wear something he knew Sammi would like. He was having a hard time putting the tie on when he heard a knock.
"Come in" he said and gave out a frustrated sigh as Shaggy and Brady came in. "Hey need help?" Brady asked and Fred nodded. Brady walked over to Fred and Fred turned to let Brady help him with his tie. "Are you nervous?" Brady asked and Fred nodded looking down at his tie. "Yeah I really am" he said and Shaggy sat on Fred's bed.
"Not complaining or anything, but what are you guys doing here?" Fred asked as he looked at his newly tied tie. "We wanted to see if you needed help. Also I'm going to make sure that you aren't going to do something stupid" Brady said and Shaggy stood up from the bed. "That and I am going to make sure you are right for my sister" he said and he looked Fred over. "Yeah that does not look right" he said and Fred shrugged.
"I wanted to ware something I know Sammi will love" Fred said and Brady paled at the words. "What?" Fred asked and Brady cleared his throat. "Nothing" he said and walked out of the room. "What's up with him?" Fred asked and adjusted the ends of his sleeves. "He used to say the same thing to me" Shaggy said and Fred gave him a confused look.
"Brady used to be in love with Sammi! He used to have the biggest crush on her and he would wear something red to impress her. He obviously got over it but when you said that it just reminded him of what he used to do. Guess he feels embarrassed by it" Shaggy said/explained and Fred nodded. Fred had no idea of this and shrugged. "Ok. How do I look?" Fred asked.
Fred turned his body around to let Shaggy see everything and Shaggy crosses his arms and nodded. "Not bad. Now be good with my sister! Have fun but not to much fun! And have her back by 11" Shaggy said and Fred chuckled as he nodded and headed towards Sammi and Shaggy's house, where the girls and Sammi were just finishing up. #%#%#%#%#%#%#%#%#%#%#%#% "Man I'm so nervous" Sammi said as she started to wipe off her hands on her dress from them sweating so much. Daphne and Velma tried to calm her down when the door bell rung. Sammi got up and opened the door to see Fred there looking at Sammi with wide eyes and his mouth hanging open.
"Wow. For the first time, I understand the difference between pretty and beautiful" Fred said and Sammi blushed as she looked down. "So ready to go?" He said as he held out an arm for her to take. She nodded as she hooked her arm with his and she waved at the girls inside her house before going with Fred to who knows where. -/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/ Sammi was now blindfolded and could only hear the sound of water running. Sammi had no idea where she was going. All she knew was she was outside. "Are we there yet?" She asked before she got hit with a tree branch. "Sorry"Fred said and he finally stopped moving.
He removed the blindfold and Sammi gasped at what she saw. She saw a beautiful stop in a forest next to a creek with a beautiful sunset behind it. She looked at Fred and he smiled as he pulled her to the picnic blanket and sat down. She smiled at him as he pulled her down and he pulled out a basket.
She gasped as she saw he had packed her favorite fruit, red grapes. She took some and but into them. "These are so good. How did you know they were my favorite?" She asked and Fred looked at her. "You were my best friend growing up in high school. You don't think I caught onto anything at all?" He asked and she blushed looking down.
Fred them took off his shoes and and rolled up his pant legs. "What are you doing?" Sammi asked as she started to get up. Fred picked her up bridal style and she squealed. "Wait for me to get my shoes off" she said and Fred laughed. "Relax I'm just going to carry you as I walk" he said and Sammi felt a little relieved but was still cautious.
They ended up talking about what their favorite stuff was and they ended up sharing laughs and smiles. Of course, Fred had made Sammi blush a few times but that wasn't hard to do. Fred took Sammi to her house before 11 just as Shaggy had said to do and Fred walked Sammi to her door.
"I had fun today" Fred said and Sammi nodded as she looked down. "Yeah me too" Sammi said smiling the whole time. "I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Freddie" Sammi said before she kissed Fred on the cheek. "Wait" Fred said and Sammi turned to face him just before she opened her door.
"You missed" He said and Sammi had confusion written on her face. Fred grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him before their lips met in the middle. The kiss didn't last long but it meant something to both of them. Sammi couldn't help but smile as they pulled away. They put their foreheads together before Fred pulled her into a hug.
"Thanks for going out with me" Fred said and he broke away from the hug and headed toward his car. Sammi smiled The whole time before she entered her house. Daphne and Velma bombarded her with questions about her date. She just smiled at them and told them everything that happened. _______________________________ Hey guys so this is the last day to put in suggestions for the contest.
