Y/N's P.O.V.

I woke up with Tom's arms wrapped around my waist as he snores lightly. I closed my eyes feeling a bright light from the curtain seep through, blinding me.

I stretched out as much as I could, careful not to disturb Tom. I heard the doorknob turn lightly and a little peep through.

"Shhh Chris, they might still be asleep" I heard someone whisper-yell.

I played the part I was still asleep as I heard someone get closer to the bed.

"Dad?" I heard Chris whisper. "Dad?!"

I heard him get up on the bed and start shaking Tom. I felt him get up and yawn.

"Yea? Is there an emergency?"

"Yes! You're still sleeping! We have to be making Y/N breakfast?" He said still whispering loud.

Tom sat up quickly. "I overslept! Do you sisters have everything ready?"

"Yes, well except for Cassie. She's in her room and won't open the door."

I heard Tom sigh and get up. "Let's go downstairs then and get ready."

I heard them leave the room and close the door lightly. I picked up my phone from next to me and looked at the date. Mother's day. I called my mom and told her happy mother's Day. We stayed talking for a while since I didn't live close to her anymore to be able to talk to her all the time. I hung up and called my grandmothers as well.

The smoke alarm scared me as it went off. I got up and put some slippers on going to see what everyone else was doing. I was honestly really curious about how this day was going to go. Tom and I met 3 years ago and got engaged only 5 months ago. He had been married before and had three kids with them. It's been okay with them, I get along with them. Only his oldest, Cassandra, seems to really hate me, but I'm very slowly making progress. His other two kids, Chris and Chloe, were the sweetest kids ever.

I was about to open the door when Chloe opened it before I could. "Your awake?!"

"Good morning Chloe." I smiled.

"Happy Mommy's Day!" She said hugging my legs.

I picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Thank you."

"I know your not my really mommy but you still act like one for me." She hugged my neck.

I carried her downstairs to see Tom and Chris stirring something in a bowl. I put Chloe down and covered Tom's eyes.

He turned around and I uncovered his eyes. "Hey good morning love! Happy Mother's Day!" He said as he leaned in to kiss me.

"Happy Mother's Day Y/N!" Chris said smiling wide. He hugged me and kissed my cheek.

"Thank you boys." I smiled. I remember talking to Tom last week about this day, if it was even appropriate. I didn't want his kids to feel obligated to do anything nor did I want them to get confused on who's their mother. Tom insisted brining up all the things I help him do, like take them to school, help them with their homework, and other stuff like that.

"Here sit down," Tom said handing me a cup of orange juice. "Breakfast is coming right up."

Chloe sat down next to me and whispered, "I made the juice." She let out a bunch of little giggles as I softly pinched her cheeks.

I took a sip. "Wow I think I taste your glitter finger." I said teasing. "It's so yummy! Thank you!"

She let out more giggles. Tom handed me a plate and told Chris to call down Cassandra. He finished setting all the plates up by the time Chris came back alone.
