Guo Jia x Reader Modern AU! (Part 1)

(A/N); trying out this plot, bear with me. This is more of a mystery than a romance, I hope that's okay with you guys. This story will take longer than the others just 2700 words is about the plot, not the romance. I would very much like it if you would read the whole thing though.

   You were top of the police academy, you were strong, clever and gorgeous. Of course any male officer would want you as a partner, but you were a solo kind of person. You wanted everything done yourself, you were a firm believer in the phrase,'If you want something done, you do it yourself.'. Let's just say you were independent.

   (Y/N)'s P.O.V

      There were 3 branches of the police in the city Wu, Shu, and Wei. I worked in the Wei branch, the lead policeman was Xiahou Dun and today a meeting was held and it was about what every police officer would be doing for that month. I was mildly excited.

"Settle down, settle down. We don't want to break another window now do we? Dian Wei, I'm looking at you,"Dian Wei just looked away and whistled,"anyway today I will be assigning your jobs for the month, so let's get started. Li Dian, Yue Jin, and Xiahou Yuan will watch over the northeastern part of the city. Dian Wei, Xu Zhu, and Xu Huang will take the northwestern part of the city. Cao Ren, Cao Pi, and Zhang Liao will take the southwestern part of the city. Lastly Yu Jin, Jia Xu, and Pang De will take the southeastern part of the city."

   I blinked, what about the female officers. Do we just get a day off?"Oh I nearly forgot (Y/N), Wang Yi, and Zhenji will deal with all emergencies in the city, I'm counting on you ladies." Xiahou Dun said and everyone left in their groups except us ladies.

  "Alright what shall we do first? Just drive around get some coffees?" Zhenji asks looking at her nails intently.

  "Why not. You in Officer Wang Yi?" I asked looking over at the serious female.

 "Alright, but we must get back to work soon." the woman says with a small grin.

**TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY LI DIAN BEING A CINNAMON ROLL**

  "And I was like um, no do I look like a THOT?" Wang Yi told with laughing.

   We all laughed hard, ah comedy. I've never seen Wang Yi laugh in life; she is usually screaming of how she'll kill Ma Chao. He kinda got her sister pregnant then left her, which blows. My phone started ringing and I checked to see who it is, it was Xiahou Dun,"Hello?"

  "(Y/N) there has been a robbing at a local jewelry store owned by Commander in Chief Cao Cao's good friend. I need you to get your team over there quick, it's located on 76th and Phoenix Ave. Good luck!"

  The ladies look over at me,"Alright girls we have a robbery on 76th and Phoenix Ave. It's at the jewelry store. You ready?"

  "Maybe I'll get some new jewelry while I'm there..."Zhenji said as we were walking to the cop car.

  "ZHENJI!" Wang Yi and I yelled in unison.

  "Right, right. No time for shopping on duty..." Zhenji murmered sadly. We neared the cop car and got in, I drove with Wang Yi in front and Zhenji in back. I drove there as fast as I could, we all got out quickly and ran to the entrance. I got out my notebook and pen then ran inside.

  "Hello? Mr.Guo? We're hear for the robbery call!" I called out.

  "Maybe no one's hear."Zhenji said a finger to her lips, trying to think.
