It was coming and we had no choice but to fight. I prepared myself and Thranduil came into my tent.

"I came to bring you your armor. I saved it all these years. It can be yours again." He said and I kissed him gently.

"Thank you we will win today. I promise." I said and put on my armor.  When I walked out Thranduil looked at me.

"You look beautiful." He said.

"Let's go." I replied and we marched out ready to help the Dwarves fight the Orcs and Goblins. We fought hard and then I saw Papa.

"Papa!" I shouted. He was cornered by orcs.

"Go!" Thranduil shouted and I ran. I slew the orcs and helped my papa up. The battle was getting intense but I knew we could win. But not without losses on our side. (If you haven't read the book that's where I'm getting my info from so SPOILERS!) We soon won but I saw Thorin his gold sickness was gone but he was dying.

"Thorin it's okay we forgive you." I said.

"I understand Barawen and you can take the gold for the rebuild of Laketown." Thorin replied.

"I know I know It's okay Thorin you have died an honorable death. Rest in peace son of Erebor." I said and he took his last breath knowing his mountain was reclaimed. That his nephews would rule in the place he grew up in destined to.

"Come Barawen we have to leave. Let the dwarves bury their dead in peace." Thranduil said and I walked away with him back to our elk and we rode away. I knew Bilbo would be okay. We got back in little time and I was so tired when we arrived. I nearly fell off my elk. Thranduil caught me.

"You must rest my dear Barawen, when you wake up we'll start the wedding plans." He said and I smiled.

"It was a long fight I'm glad that I can come back to my home and be with you." I replied and he smiled back kissing me. I was breathless as he lifted me onto the bed and removed my armor. I was only wearing a thin dress underneath but I was comfortable and he laid down next to me. "I'm so happy that I found you again Thranduil." I said yawning.

"As am I, I love you Barawen." He replied and kissed my forehead I fell asleep blissfully. I was peaceful and I knew soon that I would be marrying the elf I loved. I didn't care that I would become a queen I cared because I loved him so much.
