"Start from the beginning" the detective told me.

"Well Thomas and Ihad been laying down and I heard my phone ring and so I got up to get it I had noticed it said the number was blocked but I still chose to answer it, so I umm picked it up" I cleared my throat and closed my eyes tight and then opened them again.

"I had said hello a couple of times and in the background I heard like a ruffling sound almost like someone was There in the background, and that's when the voice came, it was oddly familiar the voice said something like I've waited for this moment forever and to bad I wasn't there in person I didn't understand, that's when she umm she.." I stifled back a sob and started breathing heavily.

"That's when she put my dad on the line and he screamed out for me to run far away and before he could get anything out he was gone" a tear trickled down my face.

"And by gone you mean" the detective looked at my with eyes of concern and concentration

"Dead.. She shot him" the tears were flowing now they were heavy and thick.

"Kaylee you had said she shot him and by she you mean?"

I looked at him and stared for a minute

"My mother.. And she said she's coming for me next"

The detectives got up and walked into the hallway and left me and Thomas alone.

"Please don't leave me" I whispered it so low I was afraid he hadn't heard me.

"Leave you kaylee are you kidding" he wrapped his fingers into mine.

"Never would I do that, it wouldn't be just hurting you but me as well I love you too much"

"I love you as well" I squeezed his hand tight and he squeezed it back tighter.
