The only noise that was heard was the clopping of the horses feet hitting the dirt road. You looked at Jotaro as you fell into silence.

You looked down at your lap as you tried to come up with words. Anything that'll help you in this situation.

"...Well? At least give me an answer."

You looked up at him as you saw his ocean blue eyes; they were filled with anxious & hope, wanting to hear a yes from you.

You swallowed down words that you knew would make him hurt & angry. You bit your lip as you moved your hand out of his, muttering out, "We can't. I have a duty as a princess to-"

He grabbed your hand as he held it in his, looking into your (E/c) eyes, "I don't care about that! Screw the whole princess shit! Think about what you want in your life, not what your people or father want!"

You furrowed your brows a bit as you moved your hand out of his once again, "You don't understand at all. Think about me at least."

"I do care about what your opinion is, but your opinions are swamped with other peoples emotionss, not your own."

"That's because I have to care what my people think of me! If I don't, I'll a huge disgrace to them & my father!"

"Who gives a damn what people think of you?! They're nothing, you need to think about yourself!"

"I...I do care about myself!"

"Then, choose what you really want in your life, not what your people want you to choose!"

It went dead quiet as you, once again, hear the horse walking against the dirt road. Iggy looked at you both as he cuddled into you, trying to sleep.

You sighed as you stared down at your lap, gently letting Iggy.

"...Look. All I'm saying is, it's either me or them...whatever you choose...I'll respect it."

You looked at Jotaro as he wasn't looking at you, he only stared at the window. He was letting you choose, but you knew if you said no, it would only break his heart. You bit your lip as you looked away, whispering out softly, "I'm sorry, I just can't accept it."

Even though it was quiet between you both, you felt like you could hear your hearts beat as they ached for one another. You wanted him to object, you wanted him to say that he wanted you, you wanted him to say what was on your mind, that you wanted what he wanted. But, you knew what you had to choose.

The carriage came to a stop. He opened the door, his back to you, as he pulled his hat down, "All right, it's over then. I won't force you into anything...Good day, princess."

You watched as he left the carriage, closing the door behind him. You stared at the door as your vision began to blur with tears. They slowly fell down your chubby cheeks as you felt your heart break.

Jotaro kept his hat down, covering his eyes from everyone. Kakyoin came over to him with a smile, "Oi, Jotaro, how's the princess?"

He looked at him as Jotaro passed him, not wanting to be bothered by anyone. Kakyoin frowned as Avdol came over to him, "...What's wrong with Jotaro?" Kakyoin looked over at the carriage as he looked back at Jotaro, "...It's nothing."

The day went on. You stayed inside the carriage, Jotaro stayed outside with the group. When it came to random break stops, they would knock on your door, asking if you wanted to stretch or if you were hungry, but you always replied with a "no" not wanting the others to see you in the state you're in.

The tears haven't stopped. They were like a dripping faucet. Memories of your moments with Jotaro kept floating around your thoughts, causing your heart to ache even more. Iggy would try to cheer you up; licking away all the tears you've shed as he cuddled into you. You pet him softly as you hugged him.

You knew you had to stop these emotions for Jotaro. You were close to meeting your future husband, the prince of the north. But, you knew there was no way you could remove these emotions you have for Jotaro. He was supposed to be your bodyguard, not your lover.

You looked out the window as you saw the others, except Jotaro, as they talked to one another. They all had a worried expression on their faces. Polnareff looked at your window as you look away, moving away from the window, not wanting him to see you like this.

Polnareff sighed as he looked at the others, "For now, let's give them both they're space, okay?"

They looked at him as they nod their heads. Joseph stopped walking as he looked at them, "Alright. It's about time we stopped for a break." Everyone agreed as they stopped the cart. They were only in a forest area as they agreed what times everyone will take to guard.

Jotaro looked at them as he agreed to go first. They looked at him then to one another, "Are you sure, Jotaro?"

He nods his head as he went to start a fire. Avdol went over to your carriage as he knocked on your door, "Princess? Are you okay?"

You stayed quiet as he sighs, "Listen, I know something happened between you two, I can see it from Jotaros eyes & from you not coming out...please, can you at least talk to anyone of us? It's better to let it out."

It was quiet as he saw you open the door for him. He smiled a bit as he stepped inside.

He looked at you as his eyes widen; your eyes were puffy & red, your chubby cheeks stained with your dried tears, fresh ones pouring down, your pjs were a bit wrinkled from you using your sleeves as a tissue for your tears. Avdol frowned as he sat next to you, "Want to discuss it, princess?"

You looked at him, ashamed that he saw you like this, but you wanted to talk to someone about this. He pulls out a handkerchief from his pocket, handing it to you. You slowly take it, wiping your face with it as you sniffed.

He waits for you to start as you looked at him, beginning to speak about everything you wanted off your chest.
