TAEYONG P.O.V
I wasn't expecting a girl to be my partner. Well, it is what it is. I stand up and walk toward her. Others were "oooing" me when I got closer. "Hi, I'm Taeyong, nice to meet you Y/N, I'll be looking forward having you." Was I could say. "It's nice to meet you Taeyong, I'm Y/N." She says holding her hand out. We both shake hands. Her hands were soft and they seemed so fragile but strong when you touch it.

"Please go to your seats so we can begin." Chanyeol informs us. We both go to our seats and Chief Jungguk starts talking. "Ok now, today will just be like yesterday, carry on with your assignments. Dismissed." I turn to see Y/N looking straight down. "You alright?" I ask. She raises her head and smiles. "Nervous that's all."

YOUR P.O.V
Omg he looks so mean! Agh I hope this will turn out alright. "No need to be nervous, but I'm warning you. *he face gets closer to yours* I'm not afraid to be super mean." He says with a serious face. "I think you're too close Taeyong." I say standing, backing away. I bump into a figure. "Oh I'm sorry." I say apologizing. I turn and see a very tall guy. "No worries.... oh sorry, I didn't introduce myself, I'm Kim Mingyu and over there is my partner Jeon Wonwoo." I nod. "Nice to meet you." "Y/N!!" I hear Taeyong shout. He was already at the door waiting for me. "Ah Sorry I got to go." I apologize. He laughs. "Taeyong is actually a nice guy when you get to know him well."

~time skip~
Taeyong and I were walking in the large police building. He was giving me a tour. "So you should always be serious and never be clumsy." He says sternly. I gulp. Damn, I hope my clumsy side doesn't come back to me. Then right then and there, I trip all of the sudden, Taeyong tried to catch me but we ended up falling on the ground. I was on top of him, our faces so close.

I quickly, quicker than I've been get up embarrassed. He gets up himself. He looks at me with a straight face and keeps walking onward with out me. "Hey wait up!" I shout, running after him. "You better be faster next time, being an officer is a serious job." I stay speechless. "So, what is your assignment today?" I ask. By this time we're outside in the parking lot.

"Today we're just gonna patrol around the city, checking people if they are speeding and all." He replies. "Oh ok." We go in the police car and he turns on the engine. I see all the electronics and things. Luckily I know how to operate everything. Thanks Seung Cheol. "Can you power on the equipment while I drive?" asks Taeyong backing away from the parking lot.

"Sure." I power on everything but instead of pressing the computer on/off button, I accidentally press the button which triggers the lights when a police is going after another car. "WEE WOO!" goes  the engine. "Oh my God I'm sorry and I quickly turn it off.

TAEYONG P.O.V
"What the heck was that?!" I shout. "I'm sorry I pressed the wrong button." Y/N says embarrassed. "Just forget about it." I say back and I continue on driving.  the ride was silent for 10 minutes. Dang, you gotta say something Taeyong. I came upon a red light and i turn to see her brushing out the hair from her eyes. Well, it looked kinda cute. Wait, I will never love again, I can't fall in love. Never ever.

"um, so what made you want to become a police officer?" I ask breaking the silence. Her face faces mine and her eyes looked larger than before. "ah, I just want to help others, and ah um to protect my home. " Y/N replies. I smile. The red light switches to green and I start driving.

YOUR P.O.V
I couldn't just say, 'so I can become a better person from my past.' I can not let him know what I have been, or anyone. I look out my side window and see a car faster than everyone else. I check the computer and see he is going 35 mph instead of 25 mph which was the speed limit. "Taeyong, we have a car speeding. The black car to your right." I inform him. He looks and starts heading in his direction to follow him.

"Now you can trigger the lights." I press the button and "WEE WOO!" After 30 seconds, we managed to pull him over.  Taeyong and I step out of the car and stand by the driver's window. The driver scrolls the window down revealing himself.

"Yuta!?" Taeyong says shocked. "You know him?" I ask confused. "Yeah, he's one of my friends." he replies. Yuta laughs nervously. "So you must be Taeyong's new partner, I'm Nakamoto Yuta." Yuta says introducing himself. "I'm Y/N L/N. But back to topic, you were past the speed limit." I tell him. "Can you let me go just this time?" Yuta asks desperately. Taeyong and I shake our heads at the same time. I print out his ticket and we let him off.

We continue off driving. Taeyong then drives to a cafe. "What are we doing here?" I ask curious. "You'll see."
