May's career as a crime fighter had hardly begun, and already she was being thrown into a school by a shadowy boss she knew nothing about... wonderful!

And next thing she knew.. her secret identity was revealed to the entire Omni-whatsit community and unless she learned some crappy spirit taming stuff, her identity, along with her dad's, would be blown to the entire world.

And to top it off... Kano was still nowhere to be seen.

Some first step into her father's shoes this was..

The Omniyogi Academy, (not that it was publicly known by that name), was pretty much an ordinary Japanese school by the looks of it..

May came in to find it filled students in uniforms like her. Nemu of course, already seated, waved at May and winked. Before she could step in however, the teacher, a very elderly looking white haired man with a lazy look and smile, pushed her out into the hall.

"Of course you're not aware of the traditions involving a new student." said Maeta Sensei with a smile. "You are to wait out here till you are called in to introduce yourself.. and I must also inform you.. only 30 percent of this class is aware of the Omniyogi courses.. so keep that in discretion until those classes start after lunch.."

And so May came in and introduced herself. She wrote her name on the board in English, and using  what Nemu had taught her that morning, she used Katakana to write her name underneath so non-english speakers could pronounce it close enough..

Overall, May speculated that compared to school in the states, school in Japan was more about discipline. Everyone had to stand up at a certain time, talk to the teacher a certain way, bow a certain way.. and at the start of the class, you had to stand up with everyone and thank the teacher for teaching you.. supposedly... May really just tried to mimic everyone and hope she was doing everything right.

But with everything being taught in Japanese.. and May having to have Nemu do rough translations for her at every turn, she began to feel the sooner she learned Japanese at a fluent level.. the better.

Finally, after lunch, which consisted of everyone just eating the packed lunch they had in the same classroom, Nemu led May away into the hallway, where around 3 other students were waiting.

Among them, was Maria, who looked odd wearing a school uniform instead of her punk outfit, with a skull fitted over one of her twin tails.

"Behold! The Spider-Baka joins us." said Maria with a grin.

"I'm pretty sure Baka does not mean pretty and stunning." May muttered.

"I-it's a pleasure to meet you." A small boy with glasses bowed to May. "I'm a huge fan of the Avengers.. and your Dad.."

"So you all know?" May muttered.

"Of course!" spat a muscular looking guy with hair that was dyed red, giving May a glare. "What do ya take us for? Idiots!?"

"That's enough Nato-san." Nemu said,  "That's Ruuto Nato, and the small guy is Yoko Haruto

Ruuto rolled his eyes and looked away, while Haruto let out a nervous bow.

"This is all of us?" May muttered. "Wow.. small class."

"Can't have too many Omniyogis in one class mate, others get suspicious that way when so many students are missing." said Maria.

"Soooo.. what do we do first? are we going to sit around campfires and tell ghost stories? Mystery Stories? If so.. my bet is on Old Man Jenkins.. and the Butler!"

"Does she ever shut up?" Growled Nato.

"Once in a blue moon, but my fans expect a certain amount of quippage from the Spider Family." said May.
