*Julian's POV*

After the rest of our classes were over, Ding Dong and I headed to a nice place to eat. Walking in, there was waiters and waitresses pacing around back and forth with delivering drinks and food to various tables. Ding Dong asks me to stand to the side while he reserves us a spot to eat. I nervously look around; I felt tons of stares lock onto me, their eyes sinking deeper into my skin. Snapping me out of my anxiety state, Ding Dong waves his hand in front of my face.

"Hey Jules, I got us a table." He was handed a blinking sphere with a number scribbled onto it. I nod, sitting down at the waiting spots they had in the front. Ding Dong stands, leaning up against the corner of the room as he glared off into the tables of people eating and smiling. I look up him, wondering what was going on in his mind.

*Ding Dong's POV*

This is stupid, why did I take him out to eat? He's going to think I like him. I-I was trying to be nice, and look where that got me. Well, I'm stuck with him for a few hours and a week until he's transferred out of my dorm.

I cross my arms, glaring off at a table of young couples. Eavesdropping, I notice they were talking about their lives and how different they have been since the last time they met. The casual talk adults have when their other takes them on awkward double dates or meetup's with old classmates in school.  I look down, glaring down at Julian as he instantly turned his head to the side, looking over at other people. Was he staring at me? I roll my eyes; I think he noticed my unsatisfied face towards him.

My pocket began to vibrate and ding, I reach my hand into my tight jean pockets to pull out the thing I was handed. Instantly, a flamboyant man that kind of looked like Ryan leads us to our table. The flamboyant male had a lot of facial hair with bright blue eyes and dark brown hair. He was a very muscular man with broad shoulders and veiny arms and hands. The man had big gauges and tons of tattoos, but his voice didn't fit his stature.

"My name is Chase, nice to meet you lovely gentlemen." He seemed more fixated with Julian than me, probably because Julian was noticeably gay as well. "You boys ready to order?" He flips out his notepad and a flashy pen. I glanced at Julian, who looked like a nervous wreck.

"I'll have a diet coke and for you, Julian-" I get his attention away from looking down at his hands. "I-I'll have a water." His giggle soothingly being the ending of his sentence, which pleased Chase.

"Okay, lovely lovely- I'll bring your drinks by in a split!" He winks at Julian, causing me to instantly growl under my breath. Why did I do that?

"He seems nice." Julian laughs, watching as the male walked off into the kitchen.

"He's only acting for a tip." I sigh out, folding my hands onto the table and sinking into the uncomfortable booth seat. Julian's eyes dropped, looking back down at his lap. I rolled my eyes up, forcing myself to have a conversation with him.

"So how's college for you, is it treating you well?" His eyes quickly looked up at me, with a grin complimenting his face.

"It's anxious, but I'll get used to it." He twiddled his thumbs around; he was a nervous wreck, but it didn't bother me too much.

"So what do you like to do on your free time?" Julian asks me; I pondered for a minute, "I either play video games or listen to music. Sometimes I'll rent movies and watch them when I have time to. What about you?" I threw his question back at him.

"I think about the same actually, I'm not much on going out and going places but where Chris and I used to live there was an old arcade that we would stop by in the weekends and play arcade games until they closed. We became good friends with Matt and Ryan through that place, since Ryan's dad was the owner and let us play for free once we were close with Ryan." It seemed that once you asked or talked about the right thing, you couldn't shut Julian up- but I like knowing what interest him.
