Hadley groaned in frustration and slammed her phone down on her bed. She had just finished reading yet another E! News article that was reporting lies upon lies about her life. This time, they decided they'd mention a source that told them that she was still dating her very much ex-boyfriend, Jacob Tavern.

The article also mentioned the hashtag 'Tydley', questioning if she was two timing Jacob and her best friend, Tyler. Obviously, she knew that she wasn't, but the article was out there and the people who didn't know the truth were going to believe it.

Her cell phone rang and when she saw the contact name appear on the screen, she sighed softly and answered the call. "Hi, Dad," she spoke softly.

"Hi, honey. I just figured I'd give you a call. See how you're doing," he said. She could tell by the tone of his voice that he was smiling, and it made her smile, too.

She released a giggle as all of her worries faded away. "I'm doing okay, Dad. I miss you," she said.

He chuckled before he sighed. "I miss you, too, honey. Come visit soon, yeah?" he asked.

She nodded her head vigorously, although he couldn't see her do so. "Of course, I will, Dad. I promise. As soon as I get a break, I will come home for a visit," she promised her father.

She talked with her dad for over an hour as the two of them just caught up and swapped stories of how their lives were.

She omitted the parts about the rumors that had started spreading about her, but she knew he'd find out eventually. She just wanted to spare him at that moment.

Talking to her father made Hadley homesick and she wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of L.A., even if it was for a short while. She just needed an escape, a chance to get herself back to normal. Ride through the mountains on her motorcycle, go horseback riding, go fishing.

Just unwind.

Eventually, her father had to go and the two of them bid their farewells. She frowned once she was off the phone as reality sunk in again and her phone continued to blow up with notifications from her social media about the recent article that had been published.

She groaned and dropped her phone onto her bed as she exited her bedroom. She went into the kitchen to make a glass of water and she leaned against the counter to sip at the glass.

It had only been two and a half months since she even put out onto her account that she was returning to Teen Wolf for the final season. And since then, two articles had been released about her and rumors have been flying all over Twitter and Instagram.

She knew that it was all a part of being an actress and always being in the spotlight. She just wished that people would get their facts straight.

And she wished that her ex-boyfriend would stop making things worse by spreading lies everywhere that the two of them were still together. When they very much were not. Nor would they ever get back together.

There was a knock on her front door and she sighed as she was pulled out of her thoughts. She placed her glass of water on the countertop behind her and exited her kitchen, rubbing her face with her hand as she walked toward the apartment door.

She made her way through her living room and foyer before she unlocked the door, not even bothering to look through the peephole to see who had arrived.

When she lifted her head again, she gasped and took a step back before a scowl appeared on her face. "What the hell are you doing here?"
