Nightmares (J-Hope) (Fluff)

Notes: You guys watch a scary movie with J-Hope.

"Do we have to watch this movie?" Hoseok whines, his eyes wide and pleading. I roll my eyes and put the movie in the DVD player, settling on the couch next to Jimin. Hoseok reluctantly sits next to me.

"You don't have the watch the movie with us," I point out, nudging his arm. He pouts.

"We don't get very many days off and I haven't gotten to hang out with you in forever. I can't just leave," He nudges me back, raising his eyebrows at me. Hoseok is the best friend I could have asked for. He's very courteous, gentle, and exceptionally kind to everyone he meets. The only times we have any problems is if we decide to watch a scary movie. Hoseok hates them but I love them. Normally, I won't make him watch them because I know how easily he scares, but this time, I didn't pick the movie.

Taehyung and Jungkook picked the movie for tonight. The guys had decided to have a movie night since they all had the day off tomorrow, so they could stay up late. I still had to work tomorrow but it won't kill me to stay up late one night as long as I go to bed at a decent hour tomorrow night. Hoseok is the only one that really minds horror movies, and I think that the guys forget that sometimes. Jimin doesn't necessarily like them, but he can watch them in a group setting. Yoongi doesn't really pay attention most of the time, but he makes snarky comments occasionally. Namjoon just likes to talk about all of the things that make the movie impractical. Then there's Taehyung, Jungkook, and I, otherwise known as the color commentary. We tend to talk a lot, which used to annoy Jin but now he helps us with a few comments of his own.

"I'm gonna have nightmares because of this and you know it," Hoseok accuses, mock glaring at me. I offer my hand to him, which he quickly clings to.

"I'll stay with you tonight and if you do have a nightmare, I'll be right there, okay?" Hoseok usually sleeps better when he's with someone else, so this wouldn't be the first time that I stayed the night in the dorm. He suffers from insomnia occasionally so I stay with him until he goes to sleep. He doesn't want to bother the guys by admitting it to them, though Yoongi, being the night owl that he is, figured it out a while ago.

Hoseok wraps an arm around my shoulders, clutching me close to his side. When the first scare occurs, he pulls me into his lap, hiding his face in my hair. I rest my arms on top of the arms around my waist, relaxing against his chest. When the movie is mostly normal, I can feel his chin resting on my shoulder but his arms are tense. By the end of the movie, Hoseok is visibly shaking. If I don't do something soon, he's definitely going to have nightmares. They always leave him a complete mess.

"Why don't we watch another movie? I'll pick it this time," I suggest, squeezing Hoseok's hand. Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jin all politely decline but the others stay. I pile some blankets and pillows on the floor before turning on an animated movie. I cuddle with Hoseok on the floor for the next movie as well, waiting for his shaking to subside. Eventually, his breathing slows and he falls asleep. I slip out of his grip gently, resting my head on his stomach, knowing that he'll wake up if I'm not touching him.

I leave the movie on the for the other three to finish and slowly drift to sleep. I wake up in the early hours of the morning to see Jimin curled up in front of me, his back to me. I can see Jungkook sprawled on the other side of Hoseok, which means the warmth at my back is Taehyung. A flash startles me and I look up to see Jin with his camera. He bites his lip guiltily.

"I was grabbing a drink from the kitchen when I saw this. It was so cute that I had to take a picture," He says softly, setting the picture on the table before snapping one more and retreating to his room with his drink. I nestle back into my spot, sighing quietly. Hoseok's hand comes up to stroke my hair before resting gently on my head.

"Thank you," Hoseok murmurs sleepily before drifting back into sleep. I'm quick to follow suit.

A/N: Sometimes, I have really vivid dreams and this scenario is based around one of those dreams. I forgot how adorable this scenario is.....
