Third person POV
After getting everything packed and ready. Aaron went outside to make sure the coast was clear of any walkers. He whistled signaling the others that its safe to come out. Everyone had a gun out, fully loaded just in case. Aaron looked at everyone before saying, "Okay, theres an abandoned market place not to far from here. We'll stop there, pick up anything useful, then get the hell outta here. Understood?".
Everyone nodded before walking down the street, looking around for any walkers. There were a few but Garroth and Dante stabbed them in the head with their knives. The group turned the corner to see a small group of walkers. Garroth, Dante, and Travis killed them quietly before they could attract others. Dante immediately went back to Vylad, Garroth to Laurence, and Travis to Zane after killing them off.
Vylad grabbed Dantes hand and smiled brightly at him. Dante smiled back before pecking Vylad on the cheek, making him giggle. Zane looked away from them and sighed. Travis looked at the smol nugget and intertwined their hands softly. Zane looked at their hands and gave a small smile to Travis.
Travis smiled at Zane causing him to blush. "Ya know. . . . You don't have to do this for me." Zane shyly whispered. Travis shook his head. "It's fine, really. I don't mind at all. . . If anything, I'm glad to be doing this". Travis shot a reassuring smile to the smaller male. Zanes face flushed as he looked away and squealed quietly. "So cute. . . Ugh, why can't I just tell him that I love him?!" Travis thought as he angrily scolded himself.
His thoughts were cut off by by a growl. "Ahh!" Vylad screamed as a walker came out of an alley way and knocked him to the ground. Dante immediately pinned the walker down next to Vylad and stabbed it multiple times through the head. Blood, some brain matter, and skull pieces landed on the cement as Dantes shirt got soaked with the red liquid. Everyone looked at the teary eyed Vylad. Dante picked him up and held him close. "Shh. . . I got you. I'll keep you safe." Dante said quietly before rubbing Vylads back.
The group continued to walk as Dante kissed Vylads face in attempt to calm him down. It worked, seeing as Vylad was laying his head on Dantes shoulder, dry tear stains on his face. Zane frowned and looked down. Travis stopped walking, making Zane stop as well. "Why'd you stop?" Zane asked. The albino then picked Zane up bridal style as he began to walk again. "W-what the?! T-travis what're you doimg?!" Zane asked as his face flushed to a dark red. "Heh. . What does it look like? I'm carrying you. You looked upset so I decided to cheer you up a bit. I guess you can say you're. . . FLYING" Travis said as he spun Zane around.
Zane giggled before holding onto Travis' neck. "You're such a cheesy dork" Zane said as he looked up at the albino. Travis smiled before saying, "Oh hush, you know you love my cheesiness~". Zane sighed in defeat. "Unfortunately. . I do". Travis continued to carry the smol nugget as he caught up to the group. Katelyn glanced over at Travis and Zane before growling. 'Faggot. . . Travis is supposed to be holding ME. Not that gay whore' Katelyn thought as she crossed her arms. Kawaii~Chan noticed her anger and rested her hand on the blunettes shoulder. "Is. . Katelyn~Sama okay?" The meifwa asked as her ears went down a little.
Katelyn looked at the pink haired girl. "Yes K.C, I'm perfectly fine" She said through gritted teeth. Kawaii~Chan knew that her bestfriend wasn't okay, but she decided not to ask. She looked ahead and saw the building Aaron was talking about. "Alright everybody, everyone go in groups of two. Me and Aph, Garroth and Laurence, Zane with Kawaii~Chan, Travis with Katelyn, Vylad with Dante, and Lucinda will be joining Aph and I. Remember, get things that'll be useful. We all meet back at the front in 10 minutes." Aaron said before getting out his knife. Everyone took out a melee weapon and went inside.
Katelyn smirked devilishly as her and Travis went down an isle. "So Katelyn, how are things?" Travis said, striking up a conversation. "Fine. My best moments are when you're around~" Kateyln said as she held onto Travis' arm. Travis looked slightly uncomfortable. "Uhh. . . Thanks?" He said as he searched the isle for any items that would be of use. 'Score' Travis thought as he found an unopen Pocky box. He put the chocolate sticks into his backpack.
~Meanwhile with Zane and K.C~
"So Zane~Kun, how have you and Travis~Kun been?" K.C asks, her tail moving side to side as she checked the cabinets. Zane blushed a bit at the mention of the doofus' name. "Heh, we've been good. I've really enjoyed our time together." Zane says, grabbing a few medical supplies such as bandaids, Ibuprofen, and some wrapping. "Hehe. Kawaii~Chan thinks Zane~Kun has a thing for Travis~" She said as she zipped up her backpack. Zane blushed immensely before letting out a nervous laugh. "I-I mean. . . He is cute. . Strong. . Handsome. . Nice. . ." Zane trailed off as he drooled and blushed darker. The meifwa then had that gleam in her eyes. . . The shipping gleam.
"As much as I wanna scream at the ship, Kawaii~Chan knows that if she does, we'll all be dead" K.C says as she tries to calm down. Zane giggled quietly zipping up his own bag. "Fine, I may or may not like him. . . A lot." Zane said as he hid his red face in his hands. K.C "awed" at the boys shyness before heading back to the front,Zane following closely behind. When they got there they saw everyone already there. Zane looked to the side to see Katelyn hugging Travis' arm. He felt sadness wash over him as he looked down. "Okay, now we head out east. Before we left I saw a forest not to far from here when I was up on the roof. We head there and carry on." Aaron said.
"Wait, why the hell is there a forest in the city?" Lucinda asked as she have a confused look. "Hell if I know. Now, let's go." Aaron ordered as the group set out to the forest.
