Sunglasses Pt.2

I hurried up and ate my breakfasts before I was going to catch the bus to school.
"Slow Down, Val!" Jessie said.
"Sorry." I said with a mouthful of cereal.
"You can take off the sunglasses. You're inside of the house." Jessie said reaching for the glasses in my face.
"NO! I mean I want to keep them on...for fashion," I said.
"Okay?" Jessie said then walking away.
I heard footsteps walking towards the kitchen and Like came running in.
"Hey babe." He said giving me a kiss.
"Hey. You ready to go?" I asked.
"Yea. C'mon." He said.
"Bye Jessie." I said.
"Bye you two." Jessie said back.

We got in the bus and about 10 minutes we arrived to the school. I didn't have Classroom Volunteer today. But I do have it tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it.

I went to my first period which was math. I saw Haven and I sat down next to her.
"Hey long time no see." I said setting my stuff down in the desk.
"Hi. What's up with the sunglasses?" Haven asked.
"Creepy Connie." I said.
"Who's that? Is she like Bloody Mary or something?" She asked.
"I guess you can say that but he's actually real and she goes to this school." I said.
"Oh." Haven said.

Our math teacher came in and we all had to be quiet so we can get started with the lesson.

3 period later I went to lunch....

"Hey Luke." I said giving him a hug.
"Hey Val." He said giving me a hug back.
We stared at each other for a while.
"Can we sit alone today?" Luke asked.
"...Sure." I said.
We walked over to an empty table and set our trays down.
"Why did you want to sit alone?" I asked.
"I just wanted to hang out with my girlfriend all to myself." He said looking at his food. I could tell there was something up.
"Are you sure?" I asked. He shrugged.
"Come on you can tell me anything." I said.
He didn't speak for a couple of seconds.
"I..I think the guys flirt with you too much." He said quietly.
"Luke, I love you and only you." I said grabbing his hand and holding in to it.
"I know. I don't want to lose my girlfriend or my friends. So I want you guys to have some distance from eachother. Just for a while." Luke said.
"I understand. But you really have nothing to worry about." I said.
"Can I have a kiss?" He asked.
I leaned against the table to give him a kiss since he was sitting across from me. I didn't to go long since we were in public.
"So how was your day?" I asked.
"Alright." He said. I nodded my head. We sat in awkward silence for a while.
"Do you wanna sit with guys?" I aksed.
"NO!" He yelled. I sorta jumped back.
"I'm sorry. I just wanted to stay here." Luke said.
"It's fine. Why are you so worried?" I asked.
"Why do you keep asking me questions?!" He snapped back.
"Excuse me," I said.
"Just sit down and stay near me. I don't want you hanging out with other guys," He yelled again.

"You know what, no. I'm tired of you and your attitude. You're acting like a jerk." I said then sat and walked over to the guys.
"Val! Get back her!" Luke yelled.
I just ignored. I don't know whys his problem is but he better get it together. We've never had arguments like this before.

I sat down at the table and the guys were just looking at me and Luke.
"What's going on?" Jake asked.
"Luke is being a jerk." I said.
"He was sorta mean today too." Nick said.
"He was nicer this morning though." I said.
"Did anyone tick him off?" Jake asked.
"I don't know." Nick said.
Bradley just shrugged and picked at his food. He didn't look at me the whole time. But be did look back and forth at Luke a couple of times.
"Just let him cool down. He should be better after school." Jake said.
"I hope so," I said.

I said bye to the guys before I left to got to art class. I didn't even bother waiting on Luke to walk me there.
I heard footsteps walking behind me so I turned around and saw Luke.
"Why didn't you listen to me at lunch?" He asked angrily.
"Because you were being a jerk." I said.
"Look, I'm sorry. Can we just forget about this?" He said.
"We will talk about this at home." I said.
He leaned for a kiss but I rejected it and walked to class.
