You spot Strongarm sitting on a huge sign in the middle of the scrapyard. You find it easier to just use your alt-mode to get up there, so you transform and take a quick flight to the sign’s peak.
You sit beside her. Her eyes don’t move from the many instruments and trinkets in the yard. You look out farther than that, over the expanse of grassy valleys and to the twinkling buildings of Crown City.
"What brings you up here, Strongarm?“ You ask.
"Nothing,” she mutters.
You place your servos on her thigh. “Don’t lie to me, Strong. Isn’t that against regulations, lying to a superior officer?”
You see her flinch.
“Exactly. You are a superior officer and you have things to deal with that are more important than my insignificant problems.” She snaps. Her eyes widen at her own actions, then she sighs, looking down at her servos. “I’m just a cadet.”
Your heart breaks.
“Strong, for one, I’m not that much older than you. Only by…a stellar cycle. You can tell me anything. I don’t have more important issues than the well-being of the team. Of you. And two, your not just a cadet…” she turns her head, finally. “….I love you.”
Her optics soften. “I love you, too, (Y/N).”
You place a short kiss on her lips.
“That wasn’t against the manual, was it?” You ask.
She smirks, going to start up her holo-manual.
You laugh. “Strongarm, no!”
You meet her optics.
"Is it against regulations,“ you ask. "For me to do it again?”
Strongarm stutters, shaking her helm slowly. “N-no.”
You kiss her again, a little longer than the last time. She places her servos on your cheek, the other one on your waist. Your servos, the one that isn’t on her thigh, moves to cup the back of her neck, gently.
When you pull away this time, your foreheads touch.
"I hope that made you feel better, Strong.“
"It did.” She smiles.
"Finally!“ A third party shouts from below. It’s Sideswipe, with Bumblebee and Grimlock standing behind him. "It finally fragging happened!”
You look to Strongarm, and laugh again.
Her laugh was quite beautiful, by the way.
