Barry's POV
What does the fastest man alive do on his day of? Before the lightning bolt, if I wasn't still at the crime lab, I'd be at home, chillin'. But now my days off are different. Now they aren't so lonely. The lightning didn't just give me speed, it also gave me friends.
"Hey Barry who are you talking to?" Emma asked me as we were walking to STAR Labs from Jitters.
"What?" I asked.
"You know, you were just going on about your day off and how the lightning gave you friends, which you had before by the way," Emma pointed out.
"Oh that. Well, every Tuesday since I woke up from my coma, I record myself setting the scene for the day. Incase people in the future want to know how being the Flash really is," I said pulling out my phone from my pocket.
"So you're going have people put these recordings in your 'Flash Museum' after you die?" Emma asked.
"Well, yeah, if I even get a museum," I said shrugging. Emma just smiled up at me and shook her head. "What? Is it weird? Should I stop? I can stop if you want," I burst out.
"No, no. It's okay. It's kinda cute actually," Emma laughed especially because I was on the verge of using 'Speed-speech' which is what Emma and I call me using my superspeed when I speak.
"Okay good," I breathed. Ever since Emma and I almost kissed, my feelings for her have increased dramatically. Everytime I look at her I just want to kiss her. I want to be there for her when she's happy and when she isn't. I want to be the one to hug, kiss, and protect her. I want to be hers, and I want her to be mine....I want to be in a relationship with her....I like Emily Alexandra Raymond.
"Barry...Barry?" Emma asked waving her hand infront of my face.
"Huh? What? What happened?" I asked. I looked down at her and she laughed.
"You zoned out buddy," Emma laughed. I smiled and scoffed.
"Like you don't," I teased. At this point we were in the entrance to the Cortex and we had both stopped walking.
"I don't zone out," Emma challenged. She took one step closer to me and I smirked.
"Oh yeah, how about whoever can not zone out for the longest gets to do whatever the winner commands them to," I dared. I also took a step closer to her.
"You're on," Emma said taking another step forward.
"You're going down," I went on, as I took another step forward.
"In your dreams," Emma smiled. She took another step forward and our faces were just a centimeter apart. I looked into her light brown eyes and she stared into my green ones. We both realized the lack of distance between us when Cisco cleared his throat. Emma and I both blushed and we stepped away from each other.
"Oh my god, my ship is about to sail," Cisco marveled. Caitlin smiled as Emma and I exchanged looks. Emma gave Cisco a confused look and he rolled his eyes. "You two are so oblivious. But it's almost official. Embarry is almost official!" Cisco continued. Emma and I ignored him.
I spoke up, "What are we training today?"
"We, Mister Allen, are going to be training your ability to multi-task. So you are going to speed around the room playing various games with all of us. You will be playing Ping-Pong with Cisco, chess with me, and Operation with Emma and Caitlin," Dr. Wells stated. Emma and I looked at eachother and smiled.
"This should be fun," we said at the same time. Caitlin and Cisco gave us knowing looks as Dr. Wells ignored us. We set up the games and started playing.
