Xander Pov
I lied when I said it was just office work . I caught the rogue who took away those kids lives and he'll pay for it .

Going straight down the basement , there lays cells of prisoners who've either done a pack member wrong or caused offence to the whole pack .

Before I left my office quietly , Violet was asleep with friends on . Best way to leave her .

Hopefully with all the doors shut down here , she won't see any of this that I'm about to do . I wouldn't like her to .

Hunter my wolf comes out , the prisoner lays on his bed but I bang the metal of the cell . He soon wakes up rushing off the bed , making me smirk .

I say " your being punished for not only killing innocent children in this pack but for hurting my mate whatever you'd like to admit to say it now " growling slightly.

He smirks says " I did it on purpose to send a message that mate of yours isn't gonna last much longer I wonder when she decides to kill herself what your do if she's successful."

I growl louder , gripping tightly onto the cell . Our mate wouldn't do that to us , surely? He's only trying to get us irritated..

I yell " get this fucker tied to the wall! And I'll deal with him!" He tuts says " I think you might wanna check on your mate she might be willing to jump already ."

My eyes widen , she wouldn't do that to me not to us . Violet loves us too much to do that ...

Rushing up the stairs , the Beta deals with the rogue whilst I try to find the Luna . Looking around in the living room , she's not there .

Going up the stairs into our room , she's not there either . Until I hear pack members yell " oh my god! Luna stay there! Don't jump!."

My ears perk up , using my speed I go straight to the roof stepping in front of Violet . She's shaking says " I can't stop Xander I've gotta jump ."

I say " trust me okay?" Tears roll down her cheeks she asks " what are you doing?" I kiss her forehead . I whisper " just trust me I promise your be fine " stepping backwards onto the ledge .

The only way it's gonna stop whatever she's on is to jump , but she's gonna land in my arms so it won't hurt the both of them .

Violet cries " don't leave me " I say " I'm not going to just trust me " she nods grabbing hold of my hands . Letting go of her grip , I wrap my arms around her .

Eventually we're on the edge , i breathe in whisper " I love you don't ever forget that " kissing her head .

With one push , we are suddenly falling backwards . Then my back hits the ground , Violet looks up getting off of me .

She wipes her tears says " your an idiot " I cough , something red comes out onto my hand . Violet yells for help , the guys lift me up going straight to the pack ward I guess .

My vision blurs , Violet grabs my blood covered hand not letting go of it . She cries " don't leave promise me you won't?" I smile whisper " I won't " letting go of her hand .

She stands at the door way , breaking down into sobs whilst my eyes slowly shut .

Violet POV
I stand leaning against the door way , breaking down into sobs . Rubbing my baby bump I go straight to my doctor getting checked out .

Straight away I knew Xander would want me to check if we're both okay . I can't believe he took that fall for me .

The doctor smiles says " hey Luna need a check up?" I nod sitting onto the bed . She asks " what's going on? You seem really upset is it the alpha?" Ignoring her questions I focus on the baby .

She says " well the baby is in good health and appears from what I can see a baby girl " I cover my mouth in shock with my hands . The doctor smiles says " the alpha will be happy to know he did want a baby girl ."

I smile letting tears run down my cheeks , once she comes back with a photo of the baby . Suddenly remembering that I won't be able to show Xander yet or tell him .

Rose rushes in , she asks " where's Xander?" Rushing to my side . Tears well up in my eyes , she wraps her arms around me whilst I let out cries .

Once she knows everything about what happened , she insists on getting me home so I can eat and go sleep . Rose looks like she's in pain , but doesn't let it show with me now .

Taking a deep breath , I walk outside the pack ward going back to the house . I say " I'm having a girl " Rose smiles asks " oh my god really?."

I nod smiling she lets tears roll down her cheeks , she says " sorry I'm excited to be an auntie ."  Going into the house , I put the recent photo of our baby next to the photo of me and him .

We're having a baby girl .
