The Girl I Cheated On

Riya's P.O.V

Stay Calm, I said to myself as I walked slowly towards my college building.

I made all my effort to not to be seen by anybody (that-I-hate-you-because-you-broke-my-heart-body)

Walk Riya, stay calm and walk.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh",

"Ahhhhhh.......WHAT?"

"OH MY GOD you scared me"

"You scared me! What were you thinking girl?" said Natasha, my scarey best friend.

She's got this habit of bumping into me when I am lost in my thoughts or at least I have this habit of getting lost in my trail of thoughts all the time.

"Nothing." I lied.
Its not like I don't wanna tell he. Its just that I don't want to talk about him right now. I'll tell her when I am okay. 

"Everything alright?"

"Yes! Lets go to our class. Shall we?"

"Yeah, I am too sleepy though."

"You are always sleepy."

"Yeah, perks of being in a relationship."

Natasha is in a relationship since 11th standard. She is very lucky that her boyfriend  actually loves her. I could tell  by the way he looks at her. He brings her her favourite flowers, takes her to romantic dates.This is all so romantic. I wish I had some one like him in my life too.

Lets shake this feeling off.

We walked though the building and made our way to our lecture hall which was at far end of the building.

We had to take a turn towards the second corridor when something felt like I should get a glance behind me.

I turned to look at the entrance of the building from where we passed a minute before where a little less musculer, somewhat stiff  and handsome figure was standing sideways and was looking at us.

He was too far to be fully recognised but I could tell that guy was staring....at me?

I took a few steps to wards him to get a better view. His face was bright when the sunlight stroke his face from the entrance gate. As he noticed my effort to look at his face he gave a cocky grin and I knew...

"Who's he?" Asked Natasha.

I didn't say anything just stood there staring his face. It has been six months. SIX MONTHS since I saw that preety face and he is smiling.

I felt a knot in my stomach.

I couldn't say a word. I saw his expression change from amused to serious. He stared at me for almost 6 seconds before he left to the other side. I felt weak on my knees. I wanted to burst out in tears but I was better than this. I could not let any stupid person to ruin my day.

"Riya, lets go to our class. Alright? We will talk about this later."

"Hmm" she is truly my best friend. She knew how to handle me in such situation. If she would have forced me to tell. I know I wouldn't have been able to control myself.

"He was smiling! Can you imagine?
Its been six months since he cheated on you and the first thing he does after seeing you after six months, is? Smile? How shameless could he get."

We were in girl's washroom as I told everything to my now furious friend.

"Riya, you know you are too gulible right? I mean how can you fall for this guy? Who clearly doesn't give a damn about feelings. Ehhhhh."
