Chapter 4

Lucy's P. O. V

"Who is this?" A groggy female voice replied.

At that moment my heart just stopped. I put down my phone to make sure that it is Natsu's phone number. It was but who on earth was this female?

"Hello?" The female once again called out.

I could feel rage, anger, jealousy and pain. Who is this woman? A mistress? A friend? A secretary? Whoever this was, I was not a bit pleased to hear her voice or even acknowledge the fact that she was using her husband's phone.

"I'm sorry, who are you? Clearly, I don't remember my husband having a feminine voice." I replied. Never mess with me, bitch.

It didn't even take a minute but the girl immediately hang-up her phone.

Whoever this woman was? I am not letting her go away that easily. I dialed the number again and again until it finally got picked up.

I expected her to answer but instead, I was greeted by my husband's oh-so-sweet tone.

"Babe? What are you doing calling me? Don't you know I have an important meeting?" He hissed. He's definitely pissed but that cannot compare to the rage that I am feeling at the moment.

"Don't give me that attitude, Hun. There was a girl who answered your phone a minute ago. Who is she?" I was hurt badly but my words were instead laced with anger and hatred. Pain? I can barely feel it.

He stopped for a moment.

"Oh that?" He simply replied. "That's my new secretary. She must've panicked and hung you up." He explained. His voice quite bland and laced with annoyance.

I wanted to tell him how much I wanted to talk to him but it seems that things weren't going my way today.

"Bye babe. Gotta finish work. I'll be home late." Then he just hang-up on me.

I sighed. Disappointed in what happened to our lovely and beautiful love. Now, it's merely just business, arguments, pain, sadness and much less than it was before.

I just sighed. Wanting to cry out all my feelings.

"Lucy? Hey, are you okay?" A sweet voice asked. Touching my shoulder lightly.

I looked up to see a very tall blonde. A handsome one at that.

Sting Eucliffe. Age 26, owner of Sabertooth corp., and my childhood friend. He was at least 5'10. Comparing him to my 5'6 height? I felt quite petite with his big body towering over my small one.

"Oh Sting. I'm fine. What are you doing here?" I asked. Trying to hide my sadness and thoughts awhile ago.

"Are you sure, strawberry?" He always gave me cute nicknames. Although, he maybhave had a small crush on me before and despite the fact that I'm a married woman, he still took care of me and treated me like a princess. This treatment was far better than what Natsu had for me.

I giggled."I'm fine, Sting. You don't have to worry about me." I replied looking at his icy-blue eyes.

He held my small hands and starred deeply into my brown eyes. "I really care about you and worry about you. You're a big part of my life and it hurts to see you like this."

His sweet words warms my heart but these words were some words I yearned to hear from my husband, my Natsu. Sadly, he isn't as sweet as he used to be.
