AUTHORS NOTE
Here is another poem about Jesus on the cross! This is important because this was when Jesus sacrificed Himself for us.
__________________________JESUS HAS THE VICTORY
A crown of thorns pierced into His skin,
Beat beyond recognition, for a world filled with sin.
A cat of nine tails ripped at His flesh.
A suffering you couldn't begin to express.
He carries the cross up to Calvary,
With the splinters digging is His back.
The payment of His blood was satisfactory.
Hanging on the cross, he asked God to forgive His oppressors.
The devil thought he had Jesus now,
But he's not so clever.
With Jesus' words "It is finished,"
Good over evil had won.
Three days later he arose,
And had victory over His foes.

John 19:3030 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

__________________________I hadn't written in a while, but I saw a picture of Jesus on the cross, and it made me think of His suffering. Nothing can compare to what he suffered, and He did it all for us.
