Chapter Sixteen

They rode out as far as they could until they were forced to stop for the night. They rested in a home on the outskirts of Silla, bordering Baekje.
(name) sat with the princess on one of the pavilions. she knew that she should probably be with Ji Dwi but she also knew that he could take care of himself.
the silence between her and the princess was unbearable so she muttered a quiet excuse and went to find someone to talk with, preferably Ah Ro.
She didn't find Ah Ro anywhere around the house but instead stumbled upon the cart of treasures - which was left unguarded at the time - and was surrounded by peasants.
(Name) groped wildly around her waist for her sword when she realized that she m had left it with the princess. With a groan she let the peasants take the gold and run.
The next morning wasn't exactly pleasant. Soo Ho ended up punching Ji Dwi for letting the peasants take the gold.
(Name) groaned. "Stop! This isn't helping out situation at all," she yelled.
"(Name), shut up for a moment!" Soo Ho yelled back. "Can't you see that you didn't do anything to help last night either?"
(Name) snorted. "So do you want me to kill people who were on the brink of death if they couldn't get medicine or food or even water, Soo ho?"
"Well you should have tried to do something!" Soo Ho came up in her face and gripped her collar. "Where were you when this even happened? Stop being so useless!"
Slap!
Soo Ho's hand loosened on (name)'s collar and she pulled herself away. "Let me remind you that it seems like you weren't doing much of anything either, Soo Ho," she spat and stormed away.
Soo Ho was left to stare at the ground. His cheek stung but he knew that he deserved it. He chuckled to himself. "I'm such an idiot," he muttered.

Lmao I'm such a bad author but I may have started another book. ._. It's a woozi (from seventeen) fanfic and I have like the first two chapters done. I was wondering if I should wait until I finish this book? Comment what you guys (if you're interested) think I should do.
