The man turn around. "Um..I heard of what's going on between you and the girl. Didn't mean to eavesdrop but I was hoping if I can work here. You see I've been trying to find a part time jobs but they..." before I could continue the man grab me and pull me inside the coffee shop. That was a sudden movement. The shop was pack with customers. And the line is long. Probably are waiting for the coffees. The waitress was struggling to keep the order right and the customers were yelling their order. "Um..how many employees do you have?" I ask. The man reply. "We only have 3 and I'm the manager. Here, go help Christa!" He put the apron on me than push me to the counter. Uh? What am I suppose to do?
"Hello, my name is Christa. Do you think you could help me? I can guide you on what to do! Besides the people are furious! They've been waiting for almost 10 minutes!" I nodded.
Christa and I work together to get the crazy mob their beverage. I finally knew what to do and start to work as fast as I could. "Hey! Where's my hot cocoa and 3 marshmallow with sprinkles!!" One of them yelled. I quickly gave it to them mouthing 'enjoy'
Soon we got all of the crazy mob's beverages and the yelling calmed down to where people just chatter. I slumped down feeling so tired. "You did a great job kid." Said the man. "My name is Gunther. Thanks for helping us with the shop. I heard you want to get a part time job. You can work here." I stood up smiling. "Yeah. My name is Y/n L/n. I would love to work here."
Christa came running to me. "Yay! You've been a great help! I would really love to get to know you a lot, L/n!" She hugged me. I wonder who the other 2 workers are. Gunther gave me a badge with my name on it. He clipped it on the green apron. "Hey, I was wondering if I can just work here for 5 hours? Is it ok?" I ask. Gunther nodded in approval. Right now it is 10:45. I guess I'll be leaving at 3:45.
Looking outside it was cloudy and cold. No wonder why this shop is packed! Christa and I work for a while and than we have 7 minute break.
"Just so you know, the other employees are Ymir and Nanaba. They are busy with after school work. So tell me about your life. I would love to get to know you better." Christa smiled. I just stared. Should I tell her of what's going on or not. Well I guess she's a trustworthy girl.
I told her everything. "Wow, that must be dramatic! I heard a lot about Petra but I didn't think she would take it this far! I'm sorry about it. And you have 2 guys you're in love with but one of them cheated on you! Gosh that must be heartbreaking after you trusted him." She had a sad expression. I just shrug it off. "No big deal I guess. Anyway it's time to go back to work. We can chat later."
