Sousuke

hey everyone!! these are short stories about characters and their children 

-okay first of all we all know Sousuke is the gamer type of dad duhh

-so whenever he's not swimming (let's all pretend his shoulder is fine shall we)

-he's either playing video games, or at the gym, or sleeping. 

" Daddy!" 

Sousuke sighed, putting down his console. " What?" He looked at his four year old son. 

His son yawned and rubbed his eyes, holding on to his blanket. 

" What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with mommy? Where's mommy?" 

" She's making breakfast." 

Sousuke shrugged and turned to the TV as his son climbed onto the couch. 

" Can I play?" 

" No." 

Sousuke resumed the game, using his foot to nudge his kid further from the edge so he wouldn't fall off the couch. 

" What's your favorite color?" 

" I'm hungry." 

" Why do dogs bark?" 

" Where's my toy car?" 

" What's for dinner?" 

" What's your favorite color?" 

" Daaaadddyyy..." 

Sousuke closed his eyes and set his console down as gently as he could. 

" What?" 

" Can I play?" 

" Fine." Like mother like son. Sousuke remembered when you and him were dating you would always ask to play video games with him. Sousuke handed his son the other console but didn't plug it in. 

" Yay!" He yelped, clapping. 

" Yay indeed." Sousuke ran his hand through his hair once and looked back at the TV. 

He resumed the game. The theme of Mario Kart blared and he slipped back into gaming mode. 

He was fifteen seconds into the game when 

" Daddddyy.." 

" What now?" Sousuke paused the game and looked at his son. 

" Which car am I?" 

" The pink one." He randomly said. 

" But I want the blue one!" 

" No, I'm the blue one." 

" I'm the blue one!" 

" BEDTIME." Sousuke said, putting down the console and picking his son up while he screamed and giggled, struggling to get out of Sousuke's grasp. 

But before Sousuke could put his bed to sleep he bumped into his wife. 

" What are you doing?" 

Sousuke mentioned to the still laughing child in his arms. 

" I'm taking our baby to bed. He's had enough for today." Correction: I've had enough for today. Sousuke thought. 

" Sousuke, it's eight in the morning. He literally just woke up." 

Sousuke sighed. " Alright, you can have the blue car." 

" Yay!" 

Sousuke picked the kid out of your arms and seated him in his lap on the couch. 

" Yay indeed."
