-At first, you hated him.
-Like, really hated him.
-But that didn't take long to change once you involved yourself with the supernatural, and him by association.
-Laughing with, and at each other on a regular basis.
-He's really protective.
-And isn't afraid to give himself away as inhuman if it means keeping you out of harms way.
-But you've saved his ass on more than one occasion.
-Even though you're human.
-Helping him gain control over his shifts when he first activated the curse.
-Although, he refused to let you go alone to help chain him down in the Lockwood cellar.
-Because he constantly fears that he may lose control and hurt you.
-He never has.
-Having a playful relationship.
-Learning just how vulnerable he really is under his whole 'Douchebag Jock' façade.
-Going to his football games and cheering him on from the bleachers with Caroline (whose there purely for Matt-related purposes.)
-Supporting him through the death of his mother.
-Helping him understand and come to terms with who, and what he is.
-More than once, he has just vanished-- disappeared out of the blue to go and help his pack.
-Each time, it's hurt.
-When he returns, it results in an argument.
-But he knows it's not fair of him to just run off so suddenly and without warning.
-And he does everything he can to make it up to you.
-Because theres nothing he hates more than hurting you.
-Staying with him and Matt at the Lockwood mansion.
-And helping him throw his iconic parties.
-Always being there for each other.
-He's a really good listener, believe it or not.
-Helping him break his sire bond to Klaus.
-And running away together to escape his wrath.
-But you don't mind too much about having to leave everything behind.
-Because you have each other.
-And that's all you need to feel truly at home.
