Breakfast was an interesting affair to say the least. The looks I was getting from my mother were down right deadly. She obviously did not appreciate the fact that my friends were there. Well, she could shove it! If I had to go through with this marriage than she'd have to deal with my friends being here. When the heck did I turn into such a non-caring bitch? I know, right around the time I found out about Xavier. It felt a bit odd for me with this new freedom of expression stuff I had going on around my parents. I was always such a good girl! No matter how much I didn't like something I never let it show. But, this arrangement just push me over the edge.

When we were finally able to leave the table I sighed in relief. I grabbed the girls hands and we booked it out of the restaurant before my mother to utter a single syllable. We found a spot on the beach that wasn't too crowded and laid out towels out. This is what I needed I nice long day of just relaxing under the sun with two of the worlds best-est friends.

We laid out for hours working on our tans and just talking like we usually did. No one even mentioned Xavier which surprised me. I knew my friends, and ever since they found out about the arranged marriage all the could talk about was him. I didn't even need magazines, tabloids or the Internet to find out anything about him. If I wanted to something all I had to do was ask one of them, they were like walking Xavier Encyclopedias!

"What are we doing tonight?" Corrie asked

"I read about this club called La Recife Discotheque. We should go check it out." Elena replied

"Sounds good to me." I sighed sleepily. My body had been in all out relax mode since I laid down.

"Than La Recife Discotheque it is!" Corrie said

We spent the rest of the day down at the beach. After our tanning session was over we swam for a bit. Than, of course wanted to go pick up on some guys, so that left me sitting on my towel with my iPod playing while I read a book. They could flirt all they wanted. Even if I wasn't getting married they would still be the only one doing the flirting. I wasn't the flirting kind of girl. It really made no sense to me.

I had done a good job of not thinking about Xavier once breakfast was over. But, now he decided to grace the beach with his presence. Girls and older women alike all stopped and stared at the fine specimen as he sauntered through the sand. His white t-shirt clung to his body leaving nothing to the imagination about what lies beneath. He walked with his cocky smirk in place; knowing and also not caring about the attention he was receiving.

"Hello, my beautiful future wife." he said sitting next to me; shocked gasps sounded around me.

I looked over at him; placing my book down. "Your smoothing talking will not work on me."

"That may be so, but, it doesn't make what I said any less true." he smirked

"Is that all you know how to do?" I asked tilting my head to the side.

"What?"

"Smirk!" I stated "I've never once seen you smile an actual smile."

"What's there to smile about, we're both stuck in a situation we'd rather not be in." he pointed out

"True." I nodded "So why are you stuck in it?"

I may not like the idea but I figured since we were both in for it, I might as well know something's about him that only he can tell me. So let the twenty questions begin.
