So this will be a chapter for the books I've read (and liked) that are about a few general themes: music, hot musicians, rock bands, guitar, singing, romance, drama, etc.
These books don't have their own chapters because I decided to group them, and also they're not exceptional books. No offence to the authors, but I'm selective with the stories I recommend to you guys :)
Ok so here goes:
Playing Evelyn by
Evelyn never wanted to be noticed at school. She dressed in unassuming clothes and kept to herself. Until the day that she slipped up and caught the attention of the school's bad boy. Gabriel had a bad reputation but after being paired together for a home economics project, Evelyn begins to realize that there's more to him than meets the eye. Will Evelyn let Gabriel into her double life? Will she ever let him hear her music?

Delinquent, Reject, Prodigy.

Will the thrill of rock music make her change her mind? Or will Mac Parker, lead singer in a rock band scare her away? This story is a spin off of Playing Evelyn.
Grateful Deception by jules130 (UNCOMPLETED but it's really good and probably my fav out of all of these)
As far as dads go, Grace hadn't exactly lucked out. Blake Travis is a narcissistic rock star who has his sights set on making a comeback but he can't do it without his daughter's help. Thanks to a mountain of debt that her socialite mother accumulated, Grace reluctantly agrees with Blake's plan and works on proving to the whole world that her father, who hadn't been around for most of her life, was actually a real peach. Unfortunately, being on tour means singing on tour and Grace is a little out of practice. When the surly drummer in her father's band tries to get her to leave, will Grace stick around long enough to find her voice? And can a girl who doesn't know what it's like to have a father convince the world that her Dad is #1?
Sing to Me by lovealwayskarla
Anna Hayes wants one thing out of life: to be a singer. Not a record-covers-and-put-them-on-youtube singer, but a sold-out-tour singer. She has decided that the best way to do this is by auditioning for the most popular singing competition in the nation. Enter Dex, the British hearttrob, Mackenzie the not-so-shy shy boy, and Liz the pretty girl with extra sass, three others who feel the same way Anna does. The night before auditions, the night before all of their dreams are on the line, the four meet and instantly, they know they've found something undeniable. Instead of audtioning as soloists, they decide to audtion as a group, and thus Midnight Madness is formed. However, they never anticipated the pressure the competition would bring on them as they begin to move forward. They never anticipated the fan base that would support them. And Anna? She certainly never anticipated falling in love.

Just What I Needed by chooseitwisely (COMPLETED)
In life there are things that are said, and then there are those that remain unsaid. For Keely Staub, her life mostly remained in the latter category. She kept the one true love, music, hidden from even her best friends. But when one song changed the world she lived in, shaking it to it's very core, everything she knows is about to change. Her future and a past even hidden from her collide as she wades through a world she'd never dared to dream of, allowing her half heart to maybe find an equally broken one in the unlikely source of Seth Ryan.
Band On the Run by chooseitwisely (the sequel to the book above - UNCOMPLETED)
*not posting the blurb bc it might ruin the above story for you*
NOTES: Both these books by choose it wisely are good! However they're both quite long, so you need to be willing to read a lot. And though the plot is great, the writing isn't top-notch, but I didn't mind it because I loved the characters.

Hope you enjoy all of them!
