Shin Megami Tensei IV, Savior

Chaos

I stand before the crowd. I decide it best to convince them that Mikado is about to collapse by telling them about the ceiling over Tokyo. In the panic, I can assassinate Gabbi and slip away. Then I'll be able to assist Fujiwara and my other self in summoning Masakado.

"People of Mikado," I begin, "I saw many things as Walter and I hunted down Lucifer, but one thing that bothered me was the sky. There was no sky, only a ceiling made of a hard, rocky material. When I looked up, I noticed that ceiling, which holds up the Earth we walk apon was cracking. If we do not evacuate now, then we will fall with Mikado. We must evacuate immediately. If any Samurai are present, protect the citizens. We may encounter demons on the way."

"What the fuck are you doing?" Walter whispers,

"I got this," I reply, "I have two guys working on the ceiling, the two I was talking two, remember? We gotta move before they finish the job."

Gabi walks forward. Oh shit, this can't be good. "You claim this," she explains, "but how do we know these are not the lies of demons?"

Oh boy...

"You have been to the territory of the Unclean Ones," Gabi continues, "and claim to have killed Lucifer. Such a thing should be impossible for a common farmer like yourself. Unless you were a demon yourself."

"Slay the false saviors!" Someone in the crowd yells.

"Imposters!" Cries another.

Well shit gotta go.

"Run Walter!" I yell.

We flee into Naraku, an angry mob gives chase.

Damn, I've made so much progress with Walter. I can't lose him now. There's only one choice.

"Walter," I explain, "go to Tokyo without me and head to the Ring of Gaea. You'll run into the other me. Tell him the plan's gone to shit. Have him take you to destroy the Yamato Reactor. It will give you the power to reset. Do you understand?"

"Got it," Walter replies, "see you next one." Walter flees. The angry mob approaches. I cast Antichion, we're gonna reset anyways, it doesn't matter. Hundreds die in the almighty blast.

Jonathan gets back up. "I thought we were freinds," he growls, "but you're no more than a demon."

"That's not true," I reply, "I'm the hero. Listien, Jonathon, my dear friend, I do apologize for all that has happened today, but don't worry, I'm doing this for you and Walter. Maybe next time, I'll be able to show you the truth as I have shown Walter. When you see the truth, we will be friends again. For now, forgive me."

I cast Antichion again. Jonathan dodges.

"I'm not going down that easy!" He exclaims summoning a Seraph and a Metatron.

The Metatron lunges at me, sending me flying back into a wall. Seraph casts Luster Candy, strengthening my foes.

I lunge at the Seraph, Luster Candy makes it the largest threat. I slice off one of its wings, leaving an opening. I smirk and finish it off with Antichion. However, I begin to run out of mana, I'll have to use a great chakara.

Jonathon attacks with ice magic. I avoid the cold blast. I seize the opportunity to strike at him. As my blade slices through him he looks me in the eye.

"I'll see you in Hell," he growls, "even if it's just so I can stop you from returning to this world."

Jonathan dies. His blank stare pierces my soul. It haunts me, then, suddenly, Walter resets...
