[COLE'S POV]
I finally have her here in my arms. She's mine and she's not going to leave again.
"Now hold up buddy." I hear my mates soothing voice say, as she pulls away from my embrace.
I growl, telling her to stay put. She obliges but leans as far away from me as my arms will allow her.
"I appreciate you saving me, I really do. But who's to say that I should forgive you? This is pretty much the only thing that you've done that's forgiveness worthy."
I stare at her, disbelief and heartbreak clearly written on my face.
Did she really just say that?
I had just gotten her back and she's already denying me of her beautiful body.
"W-What?" I ask weakly. But then I feel anger instead of sadness. "How can you even say that? I am your mate and your Alpha. You are supposed to respect me. I will not take that kind of disrespect, especially not in front of my pack." I tell her, referring to the members behind us that are shamelessly eaves dropping.
She raises her eyebrow at me seeming unaffected.
"Cole, just show me that I can trust you. That you really want me and not just your mate."
Isn't that the same things?
She gets up and walks over to her brother leaving me to watch her in pain.
But I'm only seated for a few minutes before a plan formulated in my mind.
Oh Charlie, prepare to be wooed.
