Death of Hidan

"What about Naruto, Kakashi-sensei?" Shikamaru asked. Kakashi told them he had it covered and with that, they were off.

"Shikamaru, Let's hear your plan first."

The group had stopped to go over the plan.

"I changed the plan a bit as soon as Kakashi-sensei joined." Shikamaru said.

"Understood. Explain please." Kakashi replied.

"I'm going to break it up into several patterns and explain. Everyone get it in your heads." Shikamaru handed Kakashi a small capsule. "Okay, please find an opening and use this. Take it."

"All right." Kakashi said. 'I only just joined, and he reformulates a plan that fits for me... he's something.' He thought.

'He sure is.' Temari mentally agreed, her mouth hanging open slightly.

"Once you've got the plan in your head, go through the simulation in your mind at least 3 times. There's a huge difference on the success of a plan between doing an image training or not." Shikamaru explained.

"Yeah!"

"Okay!"

"Okay let's go."

Ino used her jutsu to locate Hidan and Kakuzu and they were on their way.
The scene changed to a dead forest the two Akatsuki members were walking through. Kakuzu looked down at Hidan's feet.

"Hidan!.."

"Yeah.." The two jumped out of the way of the shadows that raced toward them.

"Aw! So close." Ino yelled.

As they jumped away, kunai's with paper bombs attached to them were thrown at the two.

Boom!

The partners made it out okay much to everyone's dismay.

"Watch the shadows.." Kakuzu warned Hidan. The shadows came at them again.

"Hah! Don't think the same trick's gonna work every time!"

"Hidan lookup!!"

Hidan looked up at Shikamaru who had seemingly jumped out of nowhere. The Nara threw Asuma's chakra blades at the Akatsuki's shadows. Attached to them again were paper bombs.

"Hey! You're gonna blow up my chakra blades? I trusted you with those." Asuma looked at Shikamaru, surprised, but in a joking way. Shikamaru tapped Asuma on the shoulder and he turned around to face his older student.

"Just watch. You'll see." Shikamaru said.

Hidan and Kakuzu were shocked when the bombs didn't explode.

"Success." Shikamaru glared.

"Hm, nice job Nara." Kankuro gave him a thumbs up.

'Huh. That was weird.' Shikamaru thought.

'Can't move.' "Bastard." Hidan cursed the boy.

"That thing I threw is a chakra blade. It absorbs the users nature of chakra and becomes the origin of the jutsu for the user. In short, I was aiming for your shadows from the start." Shikamaru explained.

'Amazing. As usual.' Gaara thought.

Shikamaru stretched out his shadow and connected it with Hidan's. He picked up the chakra blade.
